area moving forward finding solutions. this is abc 7 news. so are we any closer to the a's getting that new waterfront ballpark in oakland the city released an environmental impact report today, which is about 3,500 pages abc 7 news spoke to team president dave cavill. this is about an hour ago, and he mains focused on the proposals that are on the table. well it has to be pose a we agree with and that works for our business and you know, we laid out one that the city had a different one and it needs to achieve the goals. we need financially to make sense for the investment of billions of dollars in private capital and we're hopeful that we can get there. you know, there's been a lot of good progress with things like the offsite infrastructure and the dollars that needs to be

that so many of us are thinking about our families those who are near to us and some maybe who we've lost. dan is back with us once again to share a story about a project that is making a difference. yeah, dan. hi deon and larry it really is making a difference and it's that sense of enduring connection that inspired a doctor at ucsf to write a song a project that started with the loss of a young patient. the song angels among us is a mixture of pain and of healing the lyrics were written by the man on the drums, dr. robert goldspeed a pediatric cancer specialist at ucsf. it was in that role that he met a 15 year old patient named celeste arreola. so celeste was a patient of cars who had a very brutal cancer in

the stomach and she endured very very intensive therapies and very challenging surgeries and all through it. she had this amazingly positive attitude of life celeste grew up in the central valley where she was close with her family and active spark before her diagnosis personally in our family. she was basically the glue and the whip? th she would get us going into doing things. us in life, she's like you can't be lazy you gotta be active but soon she would have to turn her energy toward chemotherapy and fighting a courageous battle against a cancer that ultimately proved insurmountable. oh that's what they told me that her cancer was pretty much advanced that it was very aggressive dr. goldsby says it was celeste's courage and that of other young patients that inspired him to write the song angels among us. eggs with the ucsf music therapy program helped with the courts but ultimately dr. goldsby
