not being given. her ex echoing the others, urging the judge to deny o'connor bail. he stated that shannon o'connor is a minister society. the young victim who spoke out shared her traumatic experiences . also asking the judge to deny bail. their request later granted. we believe this decision is the right decision to keep the public safe. o'connor is accused of hosting parties for them where prosecutors said she would supply alcohol and push it until some teens vomited. the teens testified they felt forced into sexual encounters. rebecca weiss is prosecuting the case, she argued against o'connor'sthe crimes are not vit felonies. she is not a flight risk. the judge ultimately disagreed. price just because the defendant did not personally because the

decision was made. >> the agreement is not only sunbelt -- salvageable but effective. the testimony from an investigator in his own office admitting she was pressured to withhold information from police -- we asked him about that directly. >> we have the opportunity to hear from you about the fact that someone did testify that they were pressured to withhold evidence. that should concern you. but i want to hear is what you're going to do about it. >> i want to be clear that i can't comment on any pending hr issues. i need to know what happened because if someone in my office was pressured to do something that was improper, that is on acceptable. whoever pressured them has to be held accountable. >> a day after the san francisco police department terminated its agreement to investigate police shootings, they are fighting back, defending the agreement.

>> i want to be really clear. it was working. >> there were 14 fatal police shootings from 2015 to 2018 but since the agreement referred to as the memorandum of understanding was signed in 2019, he says police killings have gone down dramatically. >> tenant -- 2019 was the first year there were no fatal police uses of force in san francisco. in 2020 and 2021 there was a single one. >> bill scott told us the das office has been systematically violating the terms and the decision to terminate the agreement is based on a da investigator admitted she was pressured to mislead police about the status of a criminal investigation but if you ask him, he says that testimony predated his time. >> a lot of this has to do with trust and regard this of whether it predates your time are not, are you actively working to

figure out what happened? >> absolutely and i am not aware of one iota of evidence. not any male, not a document the conversation. nothing that occurred during my tenure. to be less the das office continues to be in violation of the agreement, stating it as a failure to respond, to take part in ancillary criminal investigations as the mou requires. but he still things they will work it out. >> he will see that this team under my leadership has done things by the book. >> chief scott has reached out to the state attorney general's office for guidance on how the department can pick a replacement agency they trust to pursue these investigations and they are still waiting to hear back. i want to mention that we also reached out to the ag's office but they could only confirm they are aware of the matter.

investigators say that coleman started only shooting as people got off the bus outside a minimart. authorities say he has a criminal history and was wanted in alameda county for probation violation for illegal possession of a firearm. and a mother who lost her son to gun violence exactly four years ago returned to the place where he was shot today. patrick scott junior was waiting at the bus stop at 62nd and market. his mother says he was going to his grandmother's house when someone approached him and fired a number of shots. oakland police have still not found his killer. his mother had this message for the person responsible. >> i want to face you one on one. that is all i ask. i know your mother has a heart. i know your grandmother has a heart and i know you love your children the way i love my son. i know you have a conscience.

temperatures, mid to upper 50's. 61 in san jose. a lovely view from our golden gate bridge camera. the wind is not an issue today. that is so much nicer, especially if you have allergies. the wind is not blowing all of that pollen around. it has cooled off. 54 in livermore, the highest today mainly in the los upper 60's. and from our south beach camera, we are looking across the bay, you can see the traffic building there. a chilly morning, patchy frost. the warming trend this upcoming weekend. temperatures will be nearing records over the next week. one good thing about the air quality, everybody is in the green, we have good air quality right now. as we look at the view from here, you can see those clouds over the sun. good to moderate air quality. if you want to get out and about this weekend, you are good to go, temperatures in the morning. this is just about the only sign

this san francisco independent film festival gets underway. >> one of the films featured is a documentary exploring the unlikely bond between man and cat. it is called cat daddies. the film maker says she was inspired by her family's experience. >> my husband and i were dating and he was not a cap person at all. the cat found him, they bonded. they are now like best buddies and it changed his life. it does not matter if you love cats or not, if you love animals, you will really enjoy it. >> you can see it at the roxy theater on saturday. one of the men featured is jeff judkins and his cat, zulu. they will be at the screening. you can stream the film and others at sf indy.com. >> world news tonight with dave
