because of the winds and the dry air but not like in socal. our humidity is not in the teens and the hills. it is in the 30's, which is below critical values as are our winds. around 25 and lower which does not reach critical values. when you look in southern california, they had a wind advisory for more than 50 mile-per-hour gust and they have the heat. what sticks out to me is they have had the same rain compared to average as we have had. if we had winds as fast as them and humidity, we could have been in the same fire danger. at other day or two of record highs coming up. >> while california's drougalif picture is the same as it was last week, the bay area and most of california is in a category called severe drought care that is not as bad as it sounds

gatherings expires in sonoma county. karina novo joins us with what this means for businesses and anyone planning events. >> most recent temporary restriction on large gatherings was put into place a month ago impacting businesses and school events in sonoma county. the county health officer put the order in a place to prevent any super-spreader events and hospitals from being overwhelmed. in january, cases soared mainly because of the omicron variant peered at the time, the health department reported more than half the positive cases where the source or the transmission was known were coming from the large gatherings. the county is seeing a slowdown in case numbers and businesses are ready to welcome more desperate it is good news for wild saddle club where they host weddings and large events. the general manager tells me the last two years were incredibly challenging so they are looking forward to booking more events
