office is looking into whether doing so violates state law. he is considering legislation to ban the practice. we know the da has a tuesday morning press conference on the subject. ama: that investigation comes amid a dispute from the san francisco district attorney's office and police force among dutch about use of force investigations. the talks come two weeks after the police chief terminated between 19 deal that made the das office the lead investigator on all police use of force incidents, including police shootings. today, the mayor and city attorney released a joint statement in support of the effort to reach a new deal. it reads in part, we all are working together to support the parties to swiftly and collaboratively reach an agreement on the terms of an amended mou that addresses the significant issues of
