is investigating a shooting. sky seven was over the scene when around noon, to victims with gunshot wounds were found. you can see a car with multiple bullet holes. police are searching for the suspect. anyone with information should contact the oakland police department. the chp has made an arrest in a fatal freeway shooting in oakland of last year. the victim was targeted. he was shot to death inside his car. investigators have charged a man with murder, attempted murder, and shooting into an occupied vehicle. he was already in custody for an unrelated incident. the gunfire was the result of a feud.

>> on the same day the first black woman was nominated to the supreme court, a local trail blazer was honored in san francisco. he was the first black firefighter hired in 1955. a reporter says he had one goal in mind, increasing diversity. >> a mural now covers part of the exterior of rosa parks elementary in san francisco. it is there to remind the community of his struggles. his daughter talked about those ugly years of discrimination at the fire stations. >> sometimes he would come back

pandemic hit. edd said she had already used up her benefits. no one told her about the pandemic benefits congress had just approved. >> they said i was not qualified. and then they hung up the phone. that was the end of their part in my life. >> she struggled through the first year of the pandemic with no income. >> there was nothing i could do but use of all of my savings. a lot of credit card debt was mounting up. >> the edd said there was a mistake. she should have been getting the benefits all along. they gave her all the benefits she missed. more than $11,000. >> it was such a blessing. but at the same time, why did this happen? >> she said she really could've used that money during the lockdown when she fell deep into debt. >> to find out i wouldn't have had to have done that if they actually did what they were

supposed to do over a year ago was very painful. >> on top of that, she found out she does not get a big tax break that others got. a tactic -- tax exemption. because she was paid until 2021. tax break had expired. >> if you did not receive the benefit until 2021, you are out of luck. >> he says taxes are based on income when it is received, not when it should have been received. >> i'm sure it will be of people who are affected. >> given the large backlog, she says many others like they missed out on the tax break. statistics show hundreds of thousands of claims were still awaiting approval on the last day of 2020. edd froze 1.4 million claims to
