abc 7 has released news. >> hello. you can see the rose market is closed right now. this is where it happened. it happened last night. police are no longer here. it will not -- it looks like the market will not be open. it looks like this happened during a robbery they not made any arrest. police say they have an alarm all from 10:00 last night. the call came from rose market in phoenicia on columbus parkway. that is right alongside interstate 680. when they arrived, they found the store employee. he said he was unresponsive. he had been shot. police say they will not be releasing any information at this time. the police chief did put out a statement. they said they are deeply saddened for the senseless violence that included -- that happened in our community. we are detectives, and every revealed bull -- available resource will look for the suspect. they do not want to release any

>> the latest covid headlines. the positivity rate is back under 2% which is the lowest it has been since omicron. hawaii is also becoming less state to lift its indoor mask mandate. the governor announced that it will come to an end on march 25. the nationwide hospitalizations are at their lowest level since the end of july. currently, about 32,000 people are in the hospital, which is down from a hundred 60,000 people in the middle of january. >> that is good news. >> part of building a better bay area, two years into the pandemic, is examining the changing workplace.

police are no longer here they were here at 10:00 last night. they said it happened during a robbery. they got here because they were alerted by an alarm call. when they arrived, they found the store employee. they said he was unresponsive. he had been shot. they say they have not made any arrests. he was gone when they arrived. they will not be releasing any other information. he put out some information. he said they are deeply saddened by the violence that happened in our community. we have detectives in every available resource to identify the suspect. they do not want to release any information, especially about the victim. have respect for the family. we do see several cameras here at the store. it also has license plate readers. 45 cameras throughout the city. police have not said whether they got any good images to use in their investigation. at this time they have not made
