employees to be reinstated to their positions and awarded the value of the compensation and benefits they lost and will lose in the future. we reached out to google for a response to the lawsuit and have not heard back. jobina: hundreds of union steelworkers are on strike at the chevron richmond refinery. they walked out yesterday after voting down chevron's most recent contract offer and what they say was the company's refusal to return to the bargaining table. they are demanding safety improvements and a 17% raise to offset inflation and rising health care costs. >> cost of living in the bay area, as any blue-collar worker knows, as got to the point where you cannot live. workers have to live an hour out, so we are asking for a little bit of relief or accompany just reported $15.6 million, the most earnings since 20 14. jobina: united steelworkers represents one third of the workers at the refinery.
