border of pleasant hill and lafayette. tim johns has been on top of the story all evening. he's in the newsroom with the latest. >> the unincorporated area was shut down for hours while investigators scoured the scene. it is open, but the sheriff's office received minimal information about what unfolded. around 1:06 p.m., the sheriff's office was dispatched to a report of a shooting. we got a hold of some of the audio from the dispatch call made by the sheriff's office about the incident. i want you to listen to some of the call. >> black bmw sedan. shooter jumped out, passenger out of the vehicle, shot one shot into the victim's vehicle. >> when deputies arrived, they found bystanders providing what they describe as lifesaving measures to a person lying on the ground near a vehicle.
