clouds right around the bay area. mild temperatures anywhere from the low 50's to the upper 40's in nevada. that is a warmer start. 11° warmer. marine will be moderate at times. occasional downpours and gusty winds the coast. we're going to see some sun in the east bay. temperatures cooler. maybe some coastal showers. we will track the rain coming up. >> san jose police are investigating shootings that happened within one block of each other. minute later involving a police officer. street closures are expected because of this.

they are going to get rain as well. the heaviest rain will be along the central coast. there's a flash flood warning chin effect. we could see one to three inches of rain along the santa cruz mountains from watsonville. that's where the focus will be. the area of low pressure that pushes into that area into monday. we are looking at all the cloud cover the heaviest rain that will be arriving later today around sunset. 52 in hayward. 48 in napa. you'll notice that cloud cover is with us. cloudy skies this morning. rain arriving this evening. here's a look at our cloud cover.

we'll see some sun throughout the day today. north bay will be cloudy. by 5:00 raining from sonoma. look at the heavy rain from san francisco into the east bay. by 11:00 the front is on the move. by 2:00 in the morning it continues to push to the east. missing the bay area altogether but we will still have the showers and the possibility of a thunderstorm. they had rainfall potential coming up in the north bay.

the past three months. look at the coastal hills. this is where the rain will begin early on this afternoon. we are going to see that lift in some of the showers. we could see that wet weather hanging along the shoreline. an hour. up to about 45 miles an hour through 5:00 monday morning. keep that in mind and hear the winds that will continue to ramp up through noon time. over 40 miles an hour at the coast. breezy elsewhere. this is a winter weather advisory with three to four inches from kirkwood so not bad. level one system tonight.
