report of a fight early sunday morning inside love victoria restaurant involving someone with a gun. it was already a tense situation given that a homicide had happened just a half a block away and police were looking for suspect police release surveillance video this afternoon showing the fight inside the restaurant followed by customers running out the door at one point police. say a man pulled out a gun while another man wrestled. away from him when that man emerged from the restaurant holding the gun a police officer fired several shots today, san jose police chief anthony mada explained what happened? the officer knew that listed a block away from the homicide a man with a gun inside a crowded restaurant engaged in the fight. and that panic customers were running out reporting what was occurring? the officer knew that the person coming out of the restaurant was holding a gun and pointed it at others.

this afternoon happened at 18th in market streets. both cars had extensive damage as you're seeing here. there's no word on what led up to the crash or if anyone was hurt oakland police confirm officers were on an active call at the scene, but did not release more details. the families of several men who died during interactions with authorities are calling for contra costa county sheriff david livingston to resign the family members staged a protest. outside the sheriff's office in martinez this morning. they're upset over a recent email livingston sent to his staff regarding this sentencing of former deputy andrew hall. he was convicted on a weapons charge related to the 2018 shooting of latimar arboleda. a sheriff criticized district attorney diana becton for filing charges against toll and called the sentencing a quote sad day. for sheriff livingston to say it's a sad day to to me to my mother to our family that is

disgusting. that is almost like a form of bullying. the families are not the only ones who've set with livingston the prosecutors alliance of california issued a statement last week saying the tone of his email was grounds for an audit. we reached out to the sheriff's office for a comment, but we have not yet heard back. it appears a bill that will extend california's eviction protection law will go down to the wire the state senate began to baiting the bill today a day after a passed in the assembly. the legislation would extend emergency covid tenant protections through june 30th. the original law is said to expire on thursday, even though an estimated 366,000 people who applied for rental assistance are still waiting. san francisco state senator scott weiner won't be voting in favor of the extension. he says he's against the new legislation because it doesn't allow any new applications to be filed after thursday. and because it preempts local eviction moratoriums in several cities, including san francisco the cdc announced today that the

airports abc 7 news reporter david louis took a trip to sfo. terminal 3 is coming back to life as passengers are starting to fly again united at sfo handled 110,000 spring break flyers last weekend and is expecting to carry 18 million passengers system-wide for mid-march until the end of april. how's it going? it's busy. it's very busy, but it's been good easy. yeah, no reservations about being around people and flying or anything. oh, no the hanky family from san mateo hasn't flown anywhere. a year worried off to oh, we're to spring training, arizona. looking forward to this. yep. i'm looking forward to for a long time never been to spring training a new app based baggage check-in system is helping customers bypass kiosks. they can take their bags directly to a drop-off point and head to the security checkpoint, and this will be a great way for us to pressure test. what's going to happen in the summer, which is one of our busiest times of travel
