were both students here. some parents of other students at the high school waited for hours outside these gates anxiously waiting to pick up their kids. >> my kid texted me it was shelter-in-place. i rushed out here. >> after three hours, parents were able to pick up their kids. this is after a long and scary day that for students, it started with a schoolwide announcement. somebody down, reporting that he was shot. we got here quickly. >> today's shooting following a violent weekend with police investigating at least four

separate incidents involving gun violence. one of them under the shooting. quite a lot of gun violence occurred this week from this weekend, right now we have juveniles out here with guns. we need to do -- we need to do something, we are going to do something, we need to combat this problem together. >> a junior at the school tells us students are usually allowed to walk off campus and now she is rethinking those typical school activities. grace is -- it is not really safe anymore. >> parents like garcia questioning how they go forward. because i don't know. maybe she will take a day off. i will see how i wake up tomorrow. quite a lot of those parents and students shaken up. earlier this afternoon, san jose police said they were looking for another suspect, a second suspect. i checked in after 3:00 this

afternoon. they said they were not actively searching for a suspect but that this is an ongoing investigation. i asked if the suspect was a shooter. they said that was something that they had not determined at this time. live in san jose, zach fontes, abc seven news. >> alameda county authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a missing child. he was last seen walking down foothill boulevard in hayward at about 10:00. investigators say that he had a cell phone with him and may have been headed to see relatives in oakland or pittsburgh. he is about 5 foot 7, 1 120 pounds and was seen wearing a gray shirt, black pants and red shoes. anyone with information should contact the alameda county sheriff's department. >> alameda county's eviction -- signed the bill today as acting governor while governor newsom is on vacation out of town. tim grayson and bucky wicks

temperatures in the 30's to 40's with mid 40's to even upper 40 around the bay and into san francisco. 74 and san jose. upper 60's to near 70. not nearly as breezy as today. today you get up in places around san francisco. low to mid 70's in the north bay barrel -- north bay valleys. not quite as breezy as the peninsula coast. mid to upper 70's in error in land east bay neighborhoods. a quick look at some potential records. maybe in santa rosa and here. it will be warm but records are not likely. what about a touch of summer?
