covid, philadelphia is the latest major u.s. city to bring back the indoor mask mandate. reggie: file dropped the mask mandate a month ago. cases arising throughout the city. they are up more than 50% over the last 10 days and that is what triggers this mask mandate here 40 are in the mass -- in the hospital with covid. officials say they are worried about an uptick. they decided to bring back at indoor mask mandate starting monday. according to cdc numbers, phill y's cases are low. >> the decisions in philly have to do with local decisions and local conditions matter. we hope that by having folks masked up, we can get ahead of the wave and save the lives of philadelphians. reggie: businesses can get around the indoor mask mandate by requiring everyone to be fully vaccinated. kumasi: san francisco and san

police officer looking for the driver in this april 7 hit-and-run. investigators are looking for this truck with four doors. pg&e will pay 55 million dollars to avoid facing criminal charges related to the 2019 kincade fire in sonoma county as well as the 2021 dixie fire. the kincade fire started under apg&e transmission line in october 2019. it destroyed 77,000 acres, hundreds of homes, an injured six firefighters. the utility agreed to five years of oversight with an independent monitor and to hire at least 80 new wildfire safety employees. sonoma county district attorney says they did the best they could under the circumstances. >> if i had a magic wand, maybe pg&e would not exist anymore. governor newsom has decided that pg&e is going to continue.

reggie: the aclu has filed a complaint with the department of justice saying that the closure of several oakland schools unfairly impact like families. in february the school board voted to close seven schools despite strong community opposition. the aclu says more than half of the students are african-american at four of the schools slated to close while black students only make up 1/5 of students districtwide. the oakland district says the schools were selected based on a number of factors including low enrollment. kumasi: san francisco district attorney is accusing a law firm of ripping off small businesses by falsely claiming to fight for people with disabilities. jason has joined george gascan in suing a san diego-based firm. they have asked the judge to stop the firm from filing faithless disability rights lawsuits against small
