san francisco resident who brought his complaints to dan noyes and he is here with a story you will see only on seven. >> he is really frustrated week after week, month after month. he reported it to police more than seven months ago but heard nothing. >> i tweeted i was researching this story about car break-ins. broken glass is such a common sight in san francisco so our clips of criminals breaking into cars, even with people inside of them. this violent robbery of a canadian camera crew. now, for the first time, we are seeing what appears to be at the next step in the criminal enterprise. the open air market for stolen goods in the mission district.

platform and make the algorithm open source. >> i think it is really dangerous that so much of our communications are held in the hands of a few people who run these platforms and decide what is appropriate, inappropriate, true and false. that is dangerous for democracy and i can see why those with money would want to buy those platforms. >> experts tell me that there is a possibility elon musk could go for a hostile bid and just a couple of hours ago, he tweeted hinting at this option. >> attain control in effect between i-80 and baxter and truckee. we will look at the traffic cameras here. you can see cars slowing in the westbound direction and an inspection point. so far there are no chain controls on highway 50. here we are in april.

>> san francisco's laguna hospital is at risk of being shut down. melanie woodrow has more on the story. >> san francisco's laguna honda hospital is a licensed skilled nursing facility that serves approximately 700 patients with complex medical needs. many who are low income. the hospital is at risk for being shut down after they terminated laguna honda's participation in the health care safety net program. the hospital will continue to see medicaid payments over the next 30 days but can't take on any new patients and expect reimbursement. the announcement was triggered. it began in october when state surveyors prevented contraband.

senator feinstein is 88 years old now and has two years left on her term. >> we asked about what feinstein's colleagues are telling her. >> they found themselves having to introduce themselves to her after years of working together. and then reintroduce themselves because she was forgetting parts of the conversation that they already had. clarksville joining us now with some insight. the fact that members of congress are talking about this, it really suggests there is a real problem. doesn't it? >> it may be a problem or maybe an exaggeration of a problem, there is no question that dianne feinstein is not the senator she used to be. she is showing her age and there is a diminished capacity there. she has a problem with her short-term memory. she can forget people who she

has known for a long time. that is the situation. but under the constitution that is not grounds for removal. it is kind of interesting. we don't have term limits or age limits for our senators, congresspeople or the u.s. supreme court. sometimes that leads to tension. ruth bader ginsburg, some feel that she stayed on too long and should have gotten off but she did not. that was her choice. dianne feinstein's mental fitness is her challenge as well. the voters put her in for a six-year term and like it or not, it is her decision about whether or not to leave. >> you mentioned the forgetfulness but the senator seemed pretty ok during the confirmation for justice catania brown jackson. do you think she was having occasional days off? >> it has been a terrible year for her. the pressures of washington and
