sutter health says they are ready to stop the hospitals with contracted workers in the event of a strike. a chinatown favorite closing its doors after nearly three decades in business. the family owned washington bakery and restaurant posted on instagram that it is shutting down. the final day of business will be on april 23. the cafe is famous for several menu items including the pineapple buns and other hong kong cuisine. no reason was given for the closure. this was the first of 10 are coming weekend through labor day where board is closing tracks. the agency is replacing 1500 feet of rail on this stretch of track. it is installing new ties and an electric third rail. the closure is paid -- planned through may 1.

day. unless you were on the coast, a little bit chilly there. outdoor activities were taking place under dry conditions. here is a view of our current surface winds. a bit breezy near the coast with wind speeds of 28 miles-per-hour. other areas are experiencing breezy but not terribly windy conditions. looking out over san francisco, it is 54 degrees in the city, 59 across the bay and oakland. san jose in santa clara. blue skies over the golden gate and the flag is not flapping in the breeze. not quite so breezy as in other locations on the coast. only 57 degrees, fairfield which is our warmest location, concord, 66, livermore, 69 degrees.
