conditions this morning. we will find sunshine early on. rain arrives into the forecast first in the north bay and then moves areawide overnight tonight. we will timeout the storm coming up in about nine minutes. >> san francisco leaders are out early commemorating the big one. today marks the 116th anniversary of the earthquake that shook san francisco. more on how this day is being remembered. >> they just wrapped up the ceremony here. this is an early event to attend every year. at that moment they pause and

remember what happened. there was a moment of silence and then sirens blair as they did 116 years ago when the quake struck. 3000 people died in the aftermath of that quake. the ceremony takes place here because this is where people would gather after the quake and families would reap -- reunite at this location. they place a wreath to remember the significance of the spot. mayor london breed was dressed up. this is to remember the resiliency of the people.

30's. low to mid 40's around the bay shoreline. take the heavier jacket with you. mid-60's to low 70's. it gets breezy this afternoon. tonight showers return first in the north on the front slides south. 40's and 50's as we head into tuesday. light scattered showers less than a quarter of an inch of rain and winds breezy at times. a lot of cloud cover is storm gets closer. light showers in the north between 8:00 and 9:00. that front moves south early tomorrow morning. as it does, it really falls apart. the storm is out of here before the storm gets up here tomorrow morning.

as the breeze moves through. it's all about sunshine giving way to increase in cloud cover. this is 8:00 p.m. monday evening. some showers and parts of the east bay and then early tomorrow morning showers move through parts of the south bay. some spots will end up dry. all in all the storm is out of here. total rainfall the next 24 hours very low amounts. a little bit of snow is coming to the sierra. winter weather advisory starting early tomorrow morning. snow levels around 6500 feet. slick travel conditions and reduced visibility as the storm moves through. the second storm arrives here wednesday night and lingers through much of the day thursday.
