i'm dan ashley. abc7 reporter tim johns was on campus and spoke with several students. >> the sound of sirens greeted thousands of students thursday morning. the campus implemented a replace order around 10:00. it would last for hours. >> it was definitely a scary experience. >> school officials received information an individual affiliated with the university posed a serious and credible threat to others on campus. sky 7 video shows armed police officers searching campus during the lockdown to look at the person in question. >> they were able to assess very quickly and take action very quickly that led them to the conclusion the individual no longer posed a threat to any individuals on campus or the campus itself. >> the person was eventually found. the university remains tightlipped, citing privacy reasons for all those involved.

the shelter-in-place order being order, several students say they still have concerns. one of the students is steve escobar. even though the school sent updates, many students feel like they were left in the dark. >> we really don't get the transparency of why were in a lockdown. while we stay away from the windows. >> it is also shared from jordan shallow, who tells abc7 news many of his schoolmates remain on edge over returning back to the class. >> i always like an announcement of we got the person, or more than the all clear, something more where i can go back to school tomorrow. and feel more safe. >> in a statement tonight, they could not share real-time information during the lockdown to protect the investigation. they will be back to normal tomorrow. resources have not been made available after the day's events.

immediately. police tracked down his vehicle, this newer model red pickup truck and a shot of the person they are looking for. both victims in a marked crosswalk on april 7 when they were hit and killed and the driver took off. moving to covid-19 news. the biden administration extended its vaccination requirement for international travelers entering the country by land or sea. no requirement to show a negative covid test. in los angeles county, masks will be required on public transit and in bus terminals and train stations. when it comes to kids under five, parents may be able to get them vaccinated as early as june. moderna and pfizer expect results from clinical trials within a few weeks regarding kids under the age of five. california teamed up with metta to get facts about covid-19 to the state's spanish speakers. the service is available on the whatsapp messaging service as a
