>> building a better bay area, moving forward, finding solutions. this is acadia. -- kgo. >> that woman's call led police to the baby nearly a full day after he was reported as kidnapped. we have live coverage with zach fuentes. >> we are just across the street from regional medical center in san jose. this is 12 minutes away from where that baby was reported missing. she saw that van and recognized it based on the description.

she was too shaken up to speak on camera but her boss says she is very happy to have had some kind of role in the resolution of this 20 hour search. >> it was just after one on monday afternoon. police say the baby was taken from the san jose apartment by a man who was seen walking with the baby carrier. that led to a massive search for the baby that led to the fbi. the response -- three suspects have led to this nursing home. >> what transpired this morning was one of my employees that works here felt a little bit suspicious and saw something out of character. >> she saw this man, a silver 2011 nissan quest. california patrol tweeted out a description and license of the van.

it is unknown why they have had this breakdown in communication. this is what led that employee did notice the van. she was there just after she called police. >> she saw something was a little out of place. the police department did show up. both the front and the back but the -- they went to the alleged suspects house. >> maria alvarado says that she lives just under home that police invaded. she said that she was so shocked to hear such a commotion outside her home. she says they had the boy right there this time. at least five officers were seen

carrying evidence from that home. they did say that three suspects include the man seen in the surveillance video. a woman with the child's grandmother is also being detained. police had the initial investigation shows the link between the family and the suspects. just after the team cleared, we went to that home that police invaded to see if there was someone there to speak. there was a man who said he had just gotten home. he said to check back later. we did check back with him in the last hour. he is not there and we still have not heard back from him. that baby is home safe with his mother. >> that is what matters here. dustin dorsey continues the team coverage. he is live in san jose.

>> baby brandon is home safe this evening. i can only imagine the relief there. >> we are just here a few miles away from where you just saw zach and every single time a neighbor came by, we got to tell him the good news. you could hear the relief in their voice. it is just great news. just less than 24 hours after he went missing yesterday. the colors park neighborhood was horrified to learn this news. that brandon was missing and he was kidnapped. a man took the child and was assumed gone. police believe that is one of the few people in custody. not even a photo later, neighbors woke up to the much needed good news that young baby brandon was found safe.

let's mid 50's in oakland and san jose. you can see this clearly here. 73° in santa rosa and fairfield. mild in concord at 70°. get used to views like this. it is really shaky views and gusty winds. the gusty pattern remains with us over the next few days. the wind will use friday. it is going to be warmer for the weekend. 6:00 tonight, 30 to 38 mile per hour wind along the coast. coming up to 40 later on tonight. they pick right back up again tomorrow afternoon. coming off the ocean, blowing toward the land, that will keep those temperatures going down over the next couple of days as we go into thursday. that is when we are expecting the strongest wins. pretty typical around the region. we could see some 40 or 45 -- 40

or 40 mile-per-hour winds. as we go hour-by-hour tomorrow morning, a few patches of low clouds will try to reform. higher clouds overhead. we do have frost advisories and freeze warnings tomorrow morning. temperatures low 30's first thing in the morning. protect any sensitive plants you might have. 30's and 40's, it will be windy near the coast. chilly enough to where you will need that extra layer. breezy right near the coastline. gusty winds, the coolest day is thursday and then we will start to notice those temperatures rebounding as the wind begins to let up. the warming continues with 60's to 80's. a nice range of temperatures.
