the tubbs fire which swept through santa rosa, jumping highway 101 on that first terrifying october night. among the casualties a mobile home park named journeys and. ashes, all that was left of homes and lives. abc 7 news reported cornell barnard is live in santa rosa because this is building a better bay area. >> that is right. construction is happening. >> this is the former side of the journeys and mobile home park. this is where it once stood. residents are getting ready to come back. >> i love journeys end.

there is no two ways about it. quest linda spent 25 years of her life at the journeys and mobile home park until a monster wildfire changed everything. >> the park was on fire when i left. it was probably the worst night of my life. >> 3000 homes burned across santa rosa. now the park is finally being redeveloped. quest they work for burbank housing, the nonprofit agency leading the project to build 260 market rate apartments. >> residents that were burned out from their homes five years ago will have an opportunity to move back here and we have heard from at least a couple dozen of

monday. as we go hour-by-hour, the best possibility of seeing an drops with the system will be around mendocino county. not just tonight but going into tomorrow. the main impact will be extra clouds, a little drizzle tomorrow morning. when that front passes, we will get a little bit more sun on saturday but the wind will come up. morning temperatures will be in the 40's and 50's. watch out fo s roadways. you are looking at similar temperatures, upper 50's where the breeze will be blowing, all the way to the mid-seventies in land. they will be quiet a bit of cloud cover. as we look at these systems, there were a series coming through. this is one computer model that every time we get closer to the event, the model takes the rainfall to the north. even if they initially show you the potential for rain. this one will bring us drizzle for friday morning.
