monday night. we have an interesting team, you know, if very talented and we can be erratic a little bit. i thought we were erratic in the first half, but it was coming from a good place. we were just playing so hard but trying to hard and the second half we really settled down. we only had three turnovers move the ball beautifully got a lot of great shots, you know, i'm a strong minded person. i will never let five for 20 game determine how i play the next game and i'm not a bounce back as well. so i was just proud of myself as being locked in tonight, but i'm not satisfied. i want to play great monday come out the win tonight. we move the ball. you know we've always great shooting team if we actually look for great shots. our warriors coverage. just getting started. you got to rest quick game 4 comes quickly. on monday dean. i want to say klay thompson people talk about sometimes the struggles and i said clay for the record. i've never given up on you. he goes, that's why you're smart alvey and he walked off. that's a true thing.

have been honored with this day from teammates and coaches and the fans and family and friends. so very special posey spent over a decade wearing orange and black and those were the only colors he would wear throughout his whole career that type of dedication is what him a fan favorite. he was a great play caller. he was able to call good games. he was a great defensively throwing guys out at second and he was a rock. he was what you could build a team around and they did that for, you know, ten years the deep playoff runs the championships and the fan support made posies say it was tough to walk away from the game. i miss the relationships. i mentioned that i missed. spending time with the guys but on the flip side of it. i'm getting to spend more of that time with my family, but even in environment his celebration day would not be complete without one last buster hug. i didn't realize when i was first draft, but it didn't take me long to realize just how especially was to be a san francisco giant and i did my best to never take that for

high school in sacramento identified one of the two victims as jennifer fox they say she is the mother of one of their students and this comes as the ntsb investigates what's caused the crash abc 7 news reporter cornell bernard has details. i didn't even know about a state of truth. i was coming up the hill and saw the plane sticking into the side and new immediately was bad news cyclists in the marin headlands were taking in views of the golden gate, but this hillside plane crash stopped many in their tracks. yeah. it's really sad. it looks like straight out of a movie national transportation safety board investigators for examining the charred wreckage of the plane or a pilot and passenger died officials. say the experimental single-engine bands rv-10 air. crashed on this ridge top around noon friday, so we know that the airplane took off from sacramento investigators say the planes destination was unknown an emergency beacon helped first responders locate the wreckage at the time of the crash.
11:15 pm
there was heavy fog in the area. it was a pea soup fog friday afternoon investigators have not determined if weather was a factor i the pilot was using vfr visual flight rules. not instrument. light rules to navigate they are typically used in bad weather. i know there was fog in the area. however, we will gather all that information all the meteorological information and and assess all that and see how the airplane interacted with that type of environment investigators say the planes wreckage will be moved from the headlands on sunday and taken to sacramento for further analysis. it may be months before we learn the cause of this crash in marin county cornell bernard abc 7 news. all right moving on looking ahead to the mother's day forecast. i know people are hoping for a good weather. maybe some dining outside spencer. well, you may have to dodge the raindrops a little bit tomorrow dm but the rain won't be very widespread. so that's the good news right now. we're looking at a really windy
11:16 pm
a pattern around the bay area as we take a look at surface wind speeds right now gus 43 miles per hour at sfo and very strong wind speeds and very in most other locations as well. it's also bit chilly out there. we've got a high surf advisory in effect until 11 o'clock. tomorrow morning is the wind is equipping up high waves there we can expect 7 to 10 foot breaking waves until 11 o'clock tomorrow morning dangerous root currents are likely and hazardous swimming and surfing conditions. so bear that in mind if you're going to be down near the coastline now, let's talk about the 24-hour temperature change. it is several degrees cooler in most vary locations that i was at this time last night. so we've got the wind we've got the the chill the wind chill. here's the view from super tower looking out over san go where it's 52 degrees right now. also 52 amount of view oakland 55 mid-50s at san jose and santa clara and down to 50 degrees at half moon bay. here's a nice clear view from emeryville. looking westward along the bay bridge other temperature readings right now 51 and santa

rosa petaluma. only 47 low 50s at napa fairfield and livermore 54 at concord and the view from our rooftop camera looking across the bay is pretty clear right now, but clouds will be increasing overnight and these are our forecast features. increase overnight. i'm repeating self look for light scattered showers tomorrow and mother's day. once again, they will not be very widespread more likely to fall in the north bay, but other locations could see some wet spots as well and it'll be chilly and unsettled into the middle of next week. the approaching storm is a light storm ranking only one on the abc 7 storm impact scale. we can expect most of this rain to fall in the north bay tomorrow, but once again as the rain moves southward, it could push south of and east of the golden gate so other locations could get a little bit of wet weather tomorrow. most locations will see just hundreds of an inch of rainfall winds will be a bit gusty at times out of the northwest generally 10 to 20 miles per hour for the overnight hours. we expect mainly dry mainly clear conditions until early morning when that first wave of rain starts to swing down through mendocino county in the remainder of the north bay by
11:18 pm
midday. it'll be south and east of the golden gate then get a little bit of a break and another wave of showers develops up in the north bay in mid-afternoon tomorrow. it may not make its way to other parts of the bay area there looks like a week one. so on we go to overnight lows mainly mitch upper 40s. tomorrow only low to mid-50s at the coast upper 50s around the bay shoreline. it's going to be a chilly day inland areas about 60-61 degrees in most locations now we skip ahead with a forecast animation to midnight tomorrow night going into monday morning notice. we talk about showers tomorrow, maybe a few more on monday possibly a few more on tuesday with this unsettled pattern before we start to dry out midweek and then we got some warmer weather at the end of the week rainfall totals once again going through thursday night only a couple of hundreds of an inch. most locations. here's the accuweather seven-day forecast windy tomorrow breezy on monday still unsettled, maybe a shower or two. perhaps a couple of isolated showers will linger into tuesday. then we start to get some clearing brighter skies wednesday warming up at the end of the week and by next saturday
11:19 pm
inland high temperatures could reach 90 degrees what's different from what we have right? yeah. that's an understatement. yeah spencer. thanks. still ahead on abc 7 news at 11 growing concerns over troubling trend of hepatitis outbreaks in young children, and now there are even more reports of more than 100 cases nationw for state controller, only yiu will save taxpayers money. wait, who, me? me? no, not you. yvonne yiu. yvonne yiu. not me. good choice. for 25 years, yiu worked as an executive at top financial firms. managed hundreds of audits. as mayor, she saved taxpayers over $55 million. finding waste. saving money. because... yiu is for you. yiu is for you.

11:23 pm
necessary to make an informed decision about what is driving this increase in cases. now doctors say parents should look for symptoms of fatigue vomiting and diarrhea according to the cdc more serious symptoms of liver failure include jaundice yellowing of the skin and eyes and dark urine. and alarming prediction tonight from the white house about covid tens of millions of americans could be infected with the virus by year's end as abc news reporter faitha, boubay reports any surge will be far different than we've seen before. the biden administration believes as many as 100 million americans could become infected with covid-19 and a fall and winter surge that prediction from a senior administration official calling this one of many possible scenarios based on modeling which doesn't even account for potential new major variant. the white house is pushing congress to pass more than 22 billion dollars in covid relief funding the consequences here are quite catastrophic if we do not get funding.

11:28 pm
i still notice a difference. by river rock casino this series has shifted a san francisco for games three and four the warriors and grizzlies and the dubs got some home cooking on warriors ground tonight. you saw it right here on abc 7 game 3 series tied one game of peace second quarter stephen curry. putting on the moves hoop and the foul he would just get warmed up start a little slow. just three points the first quarter, but he would turn it on job rent 34 points from half court. the heave is good.
11:29 pm
chris is down seven at the break, but the warriors came up firing in the third quarter make an adjustment clay hits three and then off the draymond green one footed so nice, we show it twice. look at this clay. he had 21 and is just fine on the shooting. thank you very much. steph stop. oh. off the glass and in 30 had 30 and then jordan poole throwing it down jp had 27, but a possible series changing moment here jordan pool and john moran getting tangled up morant hurt his knee on this play and after the game, he tweeted broke the code warriors win 142-112. here's more on that play with pool and morant. there's not the malicious about where jordan did there's no comparison to what dylan did or draymond like nothing in that vein. so it's not a joke of matter jobs hurt, but all the rest of it's just total bs in terms of the conversation right now. i mean it was a we went to travel. yeah, you know the basketball
