time and lisa. let's go checkt now talking about that. wind it's been windy this weekend, and we're also tracking some rain. that's right. some isolated showers is a cold front most sweep through the bay area. is going to fall apart as it does and it's going to bring a good amount of wind once again, and we still have that cool air in place as we start the work week. so some unusual weather unseasonable for the next couple of days, but by the end of the week, it's going to be above average live doppler 7 with the front well to the north and as we look at this beautiful shop for mount tam you can see how breezy it is with the winds over 45 miles an hour and temperatures here in the upper. 30s the low 30s for mount diablo it is 49 in san francisco. good morning to oakland 51. it is 50 in san jose and as we look at our sutro. camera, it's clear. no clouds yet and the winds are beginning to build across the bay and on the peninsulas 44 in livermore 48 in napa.
6:18 am
and so that is colder with those temperatures dropping into the 40s through santa rosa and petaluma were almost at around 40 and the next few nights the overnight lows so cold that we can see some patchy frost in the valleys with numbers in the protective valleys dropping perhaps into the upper 30s as we look at the winds you can see from san mateo to novato the pretty breezy right now and from vollmer peak look how gusty it is. i said before a 31 degrees here. so if you're out for a hike a bike ride, you'll notice how cold it is that cold air stays in place for not only today but monday and tuesday and with another week system and some instability we could see a few more showers here and there mainly dotting the higher elevations come tomorrow and tuesday, but today there's that cold front. this is nine o'clock. if you're out and about could get your head wet there and is it slides south? falls apart still some isolated showers east bay peninsula,
6:19 am
really? not too much maybe a couple hundreds, but as we get into the higher elevations in that cold air continues to stream on in we certainly could see a more showers there favoring the north bay up towards lake county. here's a look at the rainfall estimates. maybe one one hundredth in hayward the hills over that way could see a little bit as well as mount diablo and then up to the north a little bit more from santa rosa to clear lake perhaps at 10th of an inch. here is the and where it builds to about 30 miles an hour 10 o'clock and it continues to gusts 35 to 45 miles an hour throughout the day today. so very gusty. it's all and we'll see partly cloudy skies along the west slopes of the sierra, nevada. here's where we have our weather advisory from 11 o'clock this morning to 11 o'clock tonight four to eight inches of snow. so slick roadways and the all well, not only that but the winds up to 55. an hour here could impact travel three to five inches from south lake to kirkwood. so not bad for me right highs
