charges investigators. say he drove to buffalo to the market heavily armed wearing tactical gear and had a camera where he was live streaming what he was doing a witness described the terror. i seen a guy in a full army suit this shooting shots at people and i've seen a security guard running the store and then i seen the guy go in army style bent over the shooting at people. is terrifying abc news reporter alex pershay has the latest now from the scene? police in buffalo new york are on the scene of what they're calling a mass shooting multiple people struck by gunfire. this is the worst nightmare that any community can face authorities say just after 2:30 saturday afternoon a male gunman entered the tops friendly market with a rifle and began. shooting you have assault weapons that aren't for hunting they are for killing people and

this is another example of you know, the federal government failing to recognize. this is a major public health crisis a witness described the chaotic scene. my granddaughter works there. she happened to be on her break at the time. so she work at customer service. thank god and she heard the shooting so she took herself and ran in bathroom and locked the door police say they have the shooter in custody though. they did not reveal any details of his condition investigators are still on the scene and say there is no longer an active threat to the public though residents and motorists are being urged to avoid the area this particular top supermarket is near and dear to my heart. it's one that i patronize from time to time and some of the victims. of this shooter's attack are people that all of us standing up here know alex pershey abc news. washington investigators say the gunman shot four people in the parking lot killing three and

injuring one. he then went into the store where he was confronted by a retired buffalo police officer working security that guard shot and struck the gunman who was wearing body armor and was uninjured he then proceeded to shoot nine more people inside the store for a total of 13. 11 were black and two white investigators are reviewing a purported manifesto posted online by gendron. moving on to our other big story tonight a call cross the nation for abortion rights. rallies as you can see here in washington, new york city and st. paul minnesota were among more than 380 scheduled events nationwide all with the call ban off our bodies. several of them were held across the bay area one of the largest. its way through the streets of san francisco abc 7 news reporter ryan curry was there and heard from many different ichere you each step is a step

calling for change and people have to have their feet on the street. and that's why. we're in san francisco thousands making their voices heard for the rights of women following the leak that roe versus wade will be overturned women. i know. hashes if they had money, they went overseas for abortions. they went to guam they went to japan. they went to michael. and puerto rico for abortions. do we want to see that again? absolutely not sky 7 flying over the protest that started at civic center and made its way down market street various ages and ethnicities joining together to stand. for their rights and we would like to take back just being able to have control of our bodies and we're out here just representing and standing in solidarity with all these women that just want to be represented. those aspiring to be future leaders walking side by side with current ones. i don't think men.

where a group gathered san jose city hall in support of abortion rights organizers. say the message they want to send is that women have the right to determine their own futures on own timelines a coalition of groups supported this rally including the santa clara county democratic party, south bay labor council. silicon valley pride sky 7 was over a rally today at oakland's lake merritt the group here heard from several speakers including a doctor from planned parenthood oakland city council president pro-tam shang tao is calling for oakland to declare itself a sanctuary for women seeking abortion access. supreme court, justice clarence, thomas says the court has been changed by the shocking leak of the roe v wade draft opinion. someone said that one line of one opinion would be leaked by any you would say that. oh that's impossible.

avenue and in this surveillance video, you can see three suspects dressed in black attempt to rob two men along with food stand workers one victim was shot. and transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. this is oakland's 43rd homicide this year. anyone with information is asked to contact oakland police. and the peninsula were a homicide investigation began after a body was found at a bus stop in san mateo police. say a man was found at the bus stop this morning on el camino real at east hillsdale boulevard, the investigation shut down the southbound lane of el camino real for a time police called. death suspicious, but have not provided additional details. moving over to the east bay where oakland's mills college is celebrating its 134th and last commencement as an all women's school. these students have been through so much they severe and they earned degrees and it's great to see so many people back in person on the campus celery.

looking toward the golden gate from emeryville. we present the forecast headlines. we can expect low low clouds and fog to develop and and overnight it will be breezy and cooler tomorrow and monday, but by mid-week, we'll see a warmer pattern developing in temperatures will bounce back up. here's our forecast animation overnight. we'll see some low clouds and fog developing near the coast and bay high clouds will pass over as well. there will be enough moisture in those little clouds that there could be some spotty patchy drizzle, but we're not expecting any measurable rainfall and it's going to be a through tomorrow overnight low temperatures will drop down to low to mid-50s in most locations a little bit cooler on the coastline with lows there in the upper 40s and antioch will be our warm spot overnight with a low of 61 degrees and tomorrow bay to breaker is returns to san francisco starting at the marketero ending at ocean beach six o'clock tomorrow morning as runners or walkers are gathering to eight o'clock. it'll be mostly cloudy. bit cool as the race gets off kicks off at 8 o'clock by the time we get to midday. it'll be a bit sunny or a little bit milder, but not nearly so
