as we look at live doppler 7 it, there is a system that will allow for high clouds. they are already moving along the coast into the golden gate. you can see the layer of low crowds -- clouds. it is in the low 50's along the coast. here is a look from where you can see the depth of the fog at 900 feet arid it is 58 by the delta, which will get breezy today. livermore is in the mid-50's. it is still a little milder up there than we were yesterday, that is going to change as we get into a cooler air mass today. by noon it, we have 60's and 70's. it is breezy to windy out there. it is brisk at the shoreline. liz: let's get back to the deadly shooting in buffalo. at least 10 people are dead and

three injured in buffalo. 11 of the 13 victims were black. the fbi is considering it racially motivated violent extremism. >> 18-year-old peyton gender in charged with first-degree murder hours after a shooting rampage that left 10 people dead and three others injured. 11 of the 13 victims were black. >> that carries with it a life without parole sentence. >> the suit -- scene unfolded in the supermarket in buffalo after 2:30 p.m. >> this is the worst nightmare that any community can face. >> the shooter shot several people in the parking lot before entering the friendly market and continuing his rampage. >> he exited his vehicle, he was heavily armed and had tactical

gear. he had a tactical helmet on. he was live streaming at what he was doing. >> he was taken into custody by police. according to officials, a home associated with him more than 200 miles away was searched by investigators. >> he traveled hours from outside this community to perpetrate this crime on the people of buffalo. >> the new york governor said there is no depth to her outrage. >> a white supremacist who has engaged in an act of terrorism and will be prosecuted as such in a coldhearted cruel calculating way. it >> the suspect live-streamed the attack as it unfolded. the fbi is assisting local authorities in the investigation. >> we are aggressively investigating this as a hate

crime and as an instance of racially motivated violent extremism. >> a lengthy document that he allegedly posted online was filled with racist and anti-semitic rhetoric, there was a detailed outline of what he planned to do. liz: the president issued a statement saying a racially motivated hate crime is important to the fabric of this nation. any act of domestic terrorism, including a republic -- repugnant white supremacist ideology, is antithetical to what we are are as a country. we are hearing from the parents of a missing woman. a key piece of evidence was recovered, her cell phone case. we spoke with her parents who say they are not losing hope. >> it's been 3.5 months since

alexis went missing. her parents tell us the recovered cell phone case is one of many new developments giving them hope she is still alive. >> it's really scary. >> the parents have a renewed sense of hope after their daughters cell phone case was recovered by investigators friday night. the missing 24-year-old was last seen in january at her ex-boyfriend's house. a location they say is not far from where investigators found her phone case. >> it was very close to where the houses. >> oakley pd executed at search warrant. they last searched the home in february. >> do you think she is still alive? >> yes. we are hoping. >> mixed emotions. there are a lot of things out

folding right now. they are not telling people they are looking for a body. >> her two nieces found her car the day after she was reported missing, the keys were in the ignition, not far from the ex-boyfriend's house. in this footage, menacing walking down the street walking in a hooded sweatshirt, not far from where the car was recovered. >> have you heard any leads on who this man is? >> unfortunately, we can't say. he is just a person of interest. >> this report has been overwhelming. recent reports of bodies recovered across the bay area is making it harder to keep hope alive. >> we are just relieved to find out it is not her. >> what would you tell her? >> we miss you so much. we are not going to give up. we are going to keep searching

until we find you. >> the city has created a $10,000 reward or anyone who has information on the case. you can submit tips to the number on your screen. liz: rallies and marches were held across the country this weekend in favor of reproductive rights. these are some of the demonstrations where abortion-rights supporters gathered. they expressed their outrage that the supreme court appears poised to overturn roe v. wade. several rallies were held in the bay area. one of the largest made its way through the streets of san francisco. ryan curry was there. >> each step is a step calling for change. >> people have to have their feet on the street. that's why we are here today. in san francisco, thousands made

their voices heard for the rights of women following the leak that roe v. wade will be overturned. >> women had to go to back alley abortions. if they had money, they went overseas. do we toeeain?>> the protest stc center and made its way down market street. various ages and ethnicities stood up for their rights. >> we would like to take back being able to have control of our bodies. we are out here representing, standing in solidarity with all of these women that want to be represented. >> those aspiring to be future leaders walked with current ones. >> i don't think men should be making decisions about what we do with our bodies. we are going back to the days where we are talking about back alley abortions and things that could lead to illness or kill

women. >> marches have been happening for several years in san francisco, this feels different. some are calling it historic. >> there was a feeling something like this might happen. we didn't predict that trump would put people on the supreme court. we knew our rights were something we had to march work. >> it has been difficult processing the news. many in san francisco say joining together as a community keeps them hopeful for a bright future. >> when i read the leaked draft opinion, i was surprised that i was devastated. it is comforting to know that other people feel exactly the same way. liz: in the south bay, a group gathered in san jose. the message they want to send his women have the right to determine their own futures on

apartment building near kyte hill for a report of smoke. firefighters found fire in an attic space. damage was limited to two units. there were two other units that suffered water damage. no one was hurt and the causes under investigation. non-binary runners will receive awards after beta breakers. the paper had previously reported that the company the puts on the race was not going to issue awards.

station near the starting line around 7:00 this morning. caltrain has extra trains with limited stops. hopefully that fog clears out. it's a pretty start to the money. lisa: the fog will be with us, you will just have to get away from the fog. as we look at live doppler 7, we are looking at the pacific northwest. the shallow deck of low clouds is entering around san mateo, san francisco, making for a cool afternoon. you can see the low cloud deck. it is 52 downtown and 53 in oakland. the clouds, the winds could be up to 40 miles per hour at the coast today. it is 57 in concord. the marine layer is going to deepen as we get into monday.

here's a look at the next few hours. we will have all of that cloud cover and temperatures in the mid-50's through 8:30 a.m. by 10:00, more son. i knew, we are looking at 60 degrees. we have a beautiful view, low clouds and fog. it is breezy today and tomorrow. the coolest day should be monday. we will warm up midweek. here is a look at the wind, it was breezy yesterday. 20-30 miles, through the delta you will get that breeze, the gusty winds. over in livermore, it's a breezy day on the bayshore. notice we still have those reds around. it is going to be a cooler day with some of the high clouds. as for the highs today, san francisco is around average.

look at the temperatures on the warm side. it is not as warm as we had yesterday. 81 in concord, 72 in fremont. the winds are kicking up on the peninsula. maybe 70 today. that's a big difference where temperatures are in the 80's. it is gusty along our beaches with temperatures still in the 50's. we've got 50's at the coast, low 70's bayside. the cooling continues on monday. by tuesday and wednesday, a little warmer. thursday and friday, in the low 80's. the sun setting is at 8:12 p.m. that would be the best viewing, check it out. liz: hearing that the sun is setting at 8:12 p.m., it feels

at least 10 people were killed and three hurt in the shooting at a soup -- supermarket. the shooter was arraigned in court for multiple counts of first-degree murder. he is currently in custody and has pleaded not guilty. he drove ours from his hometown to buffalo. he arrived heavily armed, wearing tactical gear and a camera to livestream the attack. retired officer working as a security guard shot him. he was wearing body armor. wax the suspect put his gun to his neck. two patrol officers talked him into dropping the gun. he took off some of his tactical gear and surrendered at that point. liz: the fbi is facilitating the investigation. he will appear in court thursday morning. senate republicans made a visit to ukraine, meeting with president zelenskyy.

ukrainian forces have pushed russians back from the city of kharkiv. we are on the ground in ukraine. >> a trail of destruction as pressure retreats from northeastern ukraine, republican leaders arrived unannounced for a face-to-face with the ukrainian president. he called for the u.s. to label russia as a sponsor of terrorism. that show support coming as ukrainian forces pushed the russians back. for those forced to live underground in darkness for weeks, other relief. >> alice says she's been waiting for ukrainian troops to free her village. in the east, officials say they thwarted russian attempts to cross a river. these images were released by the armed forces, they show burned out and vehicles littering the landscape.

workers. one person was shot and died at the hospital. oakland police found a gunshot victim early friday morning at 30th and chestnut street. this brings a homicide total in oakland 243 so far this year. a homicide investigation is underway after a body was found at a bus stop in san mateo. a man was found slumped over a bench at east hillsdale boulevard before 7:00 a.m. saturday. police did not say with the injuries were. anyone who was driving southbound between 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. who has a dash cam, give them a call. a houston-based pipeline company has settled a lawsuit of 230 million dollars for a large oil spill that occurred -- happened in southern california. a corroded pipeline spewed
