2:30 this afternoon at the intersection of bay road. the full impact may be difficult to watch. one of our reporters has the details. >> surveillance footage sews the moment a motorcycle officer was hit by a car in redwood city. as the officer comes out behind a large truck, you see a blue sedan blows to the stop sign, hitting the officer and sending him into the air. >> police department, motor operator, conscious. >> the operator is stable, at the hospital with moderate injuries. she has been with the department for 15 years and was in the city as part of a program which involves cooperation among neighboring agencies. residents living nearby say the importantly crashes there are common. >> not surprised.
