opened fire april 3. he and his brothers were each charged with three counts of murder. they are accused of taking part in a gun battle that killed six and her 12 outside a -- and hurt 12 outside a nightclub. in napa county, nancy pelosi's husband has been arrested for driving under the influence. a reporter is in the newsroom with what we know. reporter: paul pelosi was arrested last night, according to the napa county booking report and his bail was set at $5,000. records indicate he was released this morning. he is charged with dui and driving of a blood -- driving with a blood alcohol content above the legal limit of .08%. napa county sheriff's office has not released any other details. we do not know where it happened

dion: the carnival parade returned to mission district today, filling the streets with music and dancing. organizers say they had more participants than they originally expected, and a big crowd came out to take it all in. a contingent lineup of 60 featured 3000 artists representing the cultural heritage of brazil, mexico, cuba, colombia, and el salvador as well as others. the parade made its way down 20 blocks of san francisco's historic latino district. pride is taking shape in san francisco. pink triangles are going up. volunteers spent the day hanging up pink streamers.

dion: san francisco police cracked the case of an irate mother doc. this morning, an officer spotted a mother doc -- duck quacking at a storm drain. the cause, her ducklings had fallen through a metal grate and were trapped.

police posted photos of fuzzy baby ducklings that were reunited with their mother. that is it tonight, breaking news as we come on the air. the justice department now says it will conduct a critical review of the police response to the massacre in uvalde, texas after word that officers waited outside classrooms as the attack continued for 77 excruciating minutes. president biden confronted with a community's growing frustration in uvalde. begging him to do something. how the president responded. and tonight abc news obtains new video from that day that shows police breaking windows to rescue children. and new dispatch audio reveals authorities on the phone with students trapped in their classrooms. we're also learning new details tonight about the police response. sources tell abc news how federal officers took action, deciding on their own to finally storm the classroom and take out the gunman.
