>> live, breaking news. >> another mass shooting. this time at a medical complex in tulsa, oglala. four people are dead including the shooter. there are believed to be multiple people injured as well. this all started when police got because of a man walking with a rifle at the campus. our visitors are now going through my room, securing the building. we will continue to bring you breaking news as we get them and on the abc 7 news at. >> we are also following a story out of the santa cruz mountains. it started at pescadero high school in san mateo county.

zach fuentes has been monitoring the situation all day and joins us live with the very latest. everyone was so surprised by this. all of them saying something like this has never happened here before. staff, students and that mountain line. >> students were -- course the school placed on lockdown after that mountain lion cub was founded in english classroom. >> right when i got to school, my dad told me here is my line.

>> the mountain lion cub wandered into the school as students were arriving for the day. >> it is when students were coming in and out and the beginning of the day was right before school. the door had been left open. >> the san mateo county sheriff's office had a quick thinking staff member close to the door and was able to keep the mountain lion inside that english class from where he spent most of the day. it is not unheard of for amount lines come close to campus but for want to get inside the classroom, that is a first. not just for the school but the different agencies out at the scene. >> i thought it was a senior prank at first. grace before students were sent home early for the day, they made signs of support for the cub that spend more time in the classroom than they did. fish and wildlife are able to get the mountain lion out of the classroom. >> we used a dark tranquilizer rifle to put a drug mix into the animal through the dark and it

went down smoothly, no problems. >> fish and wildlife said the animal was skinny but seemed otherwise healthy. it was taken to the oakland zoo for a full assessment. again, this had a major disruption on a lot of important school activities today. today was the second to last day of school. there was an eighth grade graduation scheduled. those kids are skill -- those kids are still going to have to take their finals. >> a very eventful last week of school. crews have not fully contained a grass fire in sonoma county that broke out this morning. you can see just how dry conditions in the area are but they were quickly on the scene. it broke out near sears point along highway 37 and arnold drive. crews stopped the forward progress around noon today after it burned about 15 acres. no word on how it started. >> firefighters are increasing

debt with those descendants of enslaved africans by the united states. not just any black person living here. >> they should deal with the country where they were enslaved. we must go to the scene of the crime. >> the report concluded that the state is just as complicit. >> although the horrors of slavery may have begun in the past, victims are felt. they would be subject to vagrancy laws and arrests. >> the report says black communities were the first to be forced out of their neighborhoods in the name of urban renewal to begin some kind of compensation. >> too many to list here. we have highlighted just a few. establish a fund to support the development of black-owned

businesses, compensate individuals who were forced from their home due to urban renewal, create employment training opportunities, adopt culturally responsive curriculum for teacher credentialing. provide university scholarships. no one is dying that -- denying that this could be seen as financially prohibitive. request we put a man on the moon. can't we deal with matters of the earth? >> there is no question that the cost of it is expensive but if america does not look at this and acknowledge what happens, how do we get better as a country? >> they may tweak some of those recommendations and the final report is expected in june a year from today. here are how some of these recommendations could be implemented.
