you can see cloud cover and visibility a quarter mile at half moon bay. 56 down by sanford. made it 50's from santa rosa with fog on the coast. the marine layer is there. 60's to near 70's with a few breaks in the afternoon we could see showers far to the north. this level 1 system arrives sunday morning at a rapid warm up after that. liz: in daly city yesterday, a vigil to honor the victims killed in texas and a fight for change. amanda del castillo has more the emotional event. >> i can't believe it even happens. amanda: speaking through tears friday as she addressed mass shooting after mass shooting. her husband and their six-year-old son joined city leaders and others at an evening vigil to and gun violence.

developing news this morning, san francisco reporting its first probable case of monkeypox. person in san francisco recently traveled to a place where there was an outbreak. the department of health says the person is in good condition and in isolation and is waiting for the cdc to verify the tests from a lab. it starts with flulike symptoms but can evolve in cause a rash or sores on the body. california is on the brink of 9 million diagnosed cases. one case is governor gavin newsom who just tested negative and is out of isolation. to test positivity rate keeps climbing, 8.3%, and that doesn't include unreported, at-home tests. in alameda county, officials brought back the indoor mask mandate. the question is, are other counties going to follow the lead?

said she was shameful that she just now reached out to us and she was apologizing and was very emotional between her and my wife. it was a very emotional conversation. liz: there is a $100,000 reward for information leading to her body. she was last seen leaving her ex-boyfriend home. we reached over the 100 day of the war in ukraine. many of the millions who have fled are wondering when or if they will return. abc7news reporter brings us the story of one woman finding refuge with her daughter in the bay area. >> these are tears of trauma. she recently returned from ukraine, bringing her mother maria to san francisco to live with her.

san francisco is at $6.55. the least expensive is solano county, averaging a gallon of regular for $6.34. the bay area continues to do the most expensive region in california and therefore the nation for gas. if you think gas prices are bad at your neighborhood station, glad you are not feeling up in mendocino. gas is selling for $9.60 for a gallon of regular as of yesterday. plus and supreme cost more, $969 and nine dollars 99 cents respectively. it is the most expensive in the country. >> let's see, $9. >> oh, my goodness period is the most expensive gas in the history of the country. >> maybe i should go somewhere else. >> the station owner has said

as we look at live doppler seven, it isn't reaching the ground here we have fog at the coast there there could be a few few sprinkles here and there. overall, a lot of cloud cover today. the numbers are milder with 58 in dublin, 59 up towards pleasant hill and 60 and a concorde. the upper 50's in novato. fog along half moon bay. 53 in pacifica. you can see anywhere from two to four degrees milder this morning. with all of the cloud cover, we are starting out warmer and our exploratorium camera showing the fog, when it gets light we will be able to see that. as we go through the morning

hours, we will see a few sprinkles tomorrow as the front moves further south into san francisco. otherwise, not a whole lot to talk about. we will warm up rapidly behind the system. it is a level 1 system in the north bay and santa rosa could get impressive rainfall amounts, a to moderate through tonight into sunday. we will look for rainfall to reduce significantly as it falls apart moving the south. you can see cloud cover. there is the moisture. as we get into the afternoon, staying well to the north, sonoma county may get a sprinkle here or there. tonight you can see the rain line and trying to seek further south, not making much progress until early tomorrow. 7:00, a few scattered showers into marin county. we could see some mist and

drizzle through half moon bay and it washes out and we get into sunshine into the afternoon on sunday. despite the cloud cover, we will salvage a sunnier afternoon on sunday. revolt amounts, we could see anywhere from a couple hundredths to nothing, which is what you would expect. up towards santa rosa, that could break the daily record from 2011. it looks more than a quarter of an inch, whether or not more than three quarters of an inch, we'll have to see how that plays out. for tomorrow, 60's and 70's. it, into the 80's. by tuesday, warmth in the east bay valleys and milder conditions. heightening from 74 in oakland, mid-60's on the coast as well as in santa cruz. headed out to the a's game, 60's with cloudy skies. the red sox are in town.
