school, opening fire. the new york times reports the police commander did not have his radio when he arrived on the scene. investigators want to know if he was aware of the desperate 911 calls coming from students. san francisco is reporting its first probable case of monkeypox. the person is in san francisco and recently traveled to a place where there is an outbreak. the department of public health said the person is in good condition and in isolation. monkeypox often starts with flulike symptoms but evolves and can cause a rash and sores on the body. california is on the brink of 9 million diagnosed cases of covid-19. one case is governor gavin newsom. he tested negative and is out of isolation. artest positivity rate keeps climbing and is now at 8.3%. that not include unreported at-home tests, which we know so

the abc 7 roof camera. the time is 6:10. in southern california, a doctor and two nurses suffered injuries when they were stabbed inside a hospital. the suspect was apprehended friday night after a standoff that lasted several hours. he was treated for self-inflicted wounds. he walked into the emergency room asking for treatment for anxiety and then began his stabbing spree. investigators are from the euro the suspect. >> he has been arrested for basically battery on a police officer and resisting arrest. he has been in contact with officers on multiple occasions. liz: the victims were taken to a nearby trauma center. one is in critical condition, the other two are stable. the parents of the woman who has been missing since january say

for the first time they spoke to the family of her ex-boyfriend, who. was accused of killing her. marshall jones was shot and killed by police as they moved into arrest him. his mother reached out to alexis' parents for the first time. >> marshall's mom reached out to us and she said she was -- that she just reached out to us and she was apologizing. she was very emotional. her at my wife, it was an emotional conversation. liz: there is a $100,000 reward for information leading to alexis' body. we have reached and went over the 100th day mark of the war in ukraine. as russia continues its invasion, many of the millions who have fled wonder if they will return. tara campbell brings us a story of one woman finding refuge with

depression to concerns about someone might want to hurt others. the anonymous tip goes to the crisis center which then alerts the school. >> your name and phone number? >> if the matter is life-threatening, information will be handled by the local 911 dispatch. police in berkeley recently arrested a 16-year-old after receiving a tip the teenager was allegedly recruiting students for a mass at berkeley high. >> students saying something when they see something, because someone said something a couple days ago in berkeley, perhaps a massacre was averted. that is what we want to see happen >> the principle of lot in alternative school. >> the new term is being an upstander. we are encouraging them to stand up and call out when they see something is incorrect and wrong and hurtful to others. >> the reporting system was
