he was getting food around 11:00 in oakland saturday night. he felt something hit the back of his head and he fell unconscious. the next day he woke up in the hospital and all of his belongings were gone. he believes he was targeted because he has a reason for speaking out. >> i need to be vocal about what happened to me so later on, people from my community can come forward and say, this happened to me as well or if there was this attack. >> there is no determination that this is a hate from police. the investigation is ongoing. he will not be able to work as a ride-share driver for the next month. to the north way. these are looking for the man

but to send it to others, in need. a closure has caused a massive shortage nationwide. something they were not aware of until coming across a facebook post one day on their way to cosco. >> it just kind of snowballed from there. >> during that trip, the pair call alameda home, were able to find some of the formula that people online were searching for. they decided to buy some and send it out. a small gesture that would turn into a massive undertaking. >> there is a lot of bad things happening that i cannot personally do anything to fix. this was so concrete. i can go to a store, i can buy a thing of formula, i consented to a parent. packet is fed. >> they spent about $10,000 on everything from formula, gas, shipping costs. while they sent out 117 boxes and 28 different states.

yesterday featured movies from the 1920's, today from the 1930's, including "a night at the opera." a happy birthday event will be on june 22 with movies filmed in san francisco. a nine-year-old is pleading for whoever stole his bike to give it back. it is one of a kind and has memories attached to it. we have the story you will see only on 7. reporter: the first thing you see when you walk inside this boy's house is his trophies and of the warriors plaque. >> this one is my favorite because they let me pick the design. this trophy was a hot summer day. reporter: the present years with is warriors themed bike, but today this is all he has left, accolades and memories. >> i was sad when it got stolen, seven years of money and work into it.

i was very emotional. reporter: over the weekend, his mother went inside their garage to get the bicycle for him to join the san francisco carnaval parade. moments later, they noticed it was gone. >> they took the bike from over here. this is towards the back of the garage. and i had a drape over it. reporter: vinny is known -- benny is known in his community as always wearing a traditional suit and wearing his bike to the low rider shows. it has been a family project. >> all of my uncles, my grandpa, and my tios built it. reporter: instead of playing with legos, he has been designing the bicycle since he was three years old. the pedals even have his name on them. >> it means a lot.
