the warriors and celtics battling for a championship, governor newsom and the governor of massachusetts are joining in on the fun. half-hour before tipoff, massachusetts governor charlie baker promise newsom the celtics will win the finals. baker wagered a bit saying if the warriors win, he will wear a jersey of our governor's choosing. if the celtics win, our governor will do the same. governor newsom responded shortly afterwards, saying he will take that bet and baker will have to wear a steph curry jersey. abc7 is the exclusive home of the finals. pregame and postgame programming throughout this series, continuing with game four on friday. tip-off is at 6:00 p.m. talking about the weather. temperatures are rising the rest of this workweek. going to meteorologist sandhya patel. >> and those temperatures will be rising to potentially dangerous levels towards friday. let me show you the warnings.

crews shut down four blocks as they fought the flames. witnesses alerted police to a man suspected of setting the fire. officers arrested him. it took firefighters about 1.5 hours to get the flames under control. images showing the inside of a church showing. crews say the damage is extensive. san francisco is moving forward with a plan that will potentially offer shelter to every homeless person in the city. the board of supervisors had a unanimous vote last night. abc7 news reported tim's john -- tim johns explains what happens next. >> for decades, homelessness plagued leaders across san francisco. walking the streets of the city today, it is clear the epidemic has reached crisis proportions. >> it is particularly acute in san francisco. because we have relatively so few exits from the street immediately. >> to address the problem, he
