legislator a hate filled letter. bomb sniffing dogs passed through to make sure nothing was threatening. police say nothing was found. there has been as many as five death threats a week, lately there has been 20 to 30 sent his way. we are from a city council member, the latest victim of a brutal attack in san francisco. that is when -- when suddenly hit in the head with his concrete block. he fell to the ground, nearly lost consciousness you're his daughter chased after the two men. they continue to throw heavy objects at him. anders suffered cuts and have a disk in his neck. he said morning to be done to stop these types of attacks. >> i want to make sure everyone understands it is important to speak out so our law enforcement

understands, policymakers understand how it impacts our community and how it is important first to take actions to stop the senseless actions. reggie: he is expected to make a full recovery. the suspects have not been identified. karina: oakland police are looking for a suspect who carjacked a man and dragged him on the pavement. in this video you see a man facing the area of eighth and jackson in chinatown your and other in his 60's. his car up to the market and leaves his keys in the car. it was enough time for the suspect to get in the car and drive off. the owner of the car then tries to drive -- grab onto the car to stop the carjacking, instead he was driving on the ground for several feet. the victim suffered abrasions to multiple parts of his body, including his face. chinatown president credits the community members and safety volunteers for helping to rush
