kristen: it's now up to the cdc to clear the way for america's youngest to get the covid-19 vaccine. the advisory panel is meeting tomorrow with the boat expected this saturday. the fda has recommended moderna and pfizer shots for kids as young as preschool. every state but florida has already preordered the vaccines. the sunshine state missed tuesday's vaccine, meaning delivery would be delayed. patients will be monitored annually. dan: covid did not help the learning loss problem for sure. last month the oakland unified school district reported that 47% of elementary students are not reading at grade level. the district is ensuring that

kristen: two dozen cities are vying for the chance to host the fifa world cup in 2026. just a short time ago, the big announcement. >> the golden gate city of san francisco and the bay area. dan: santa clara made the list. zach fuentes is live at levi's stadium. >> it's such a huge deal that were having the world cup in north america at all, but right here in the bay area at santa clara is amazing. we were at a watch party when the announcement was made. there was a huge surge of energy when we found out that santa clara is in fact going to be a host city. local leaders in the bay area have been pushing for this since north american countries were awarded the world cup back in 2018. the bay area got to be a site for the world cup back in 1994.
