yeah, monday morning san. cisco will host the warriors parade and honor of the team's latest nba title. the parade route will run down market to 8th street thousands are expected to attend and preparations are already underway both on the streets and also on public transit. we're going to extend the length of our trains wherever possible to 10 cars. that's our maximum length in addition to that. we're going to stage a dozen special event trains throughout the system. and while the city is under preparation fans too are getting ready for a parade on sunday afternoon the warrior store at chase center was packed with people many of them trying to buy last-minute items to help them greet the hometown champions seeing all the players celebrating with them. who else hey monkey. but the team seven title means a lot to more than just the warriors themselves. it's also a win for the city amy's everything, you know, everyone doubted us.

rosa than at this time last night 70 degrees warmer and cod 11rees warmer in fairfield in our daytime temperatures are going to be on the rise as well. we have clear skies over san francisco right now. as you can see from the sutro mounin vie 6 af 58 degrees here 5reeshe et bay hills camera. looking westward along the bay bridge at 68 right now in santa rosa petaluma down to 56. that doesn't sound right. well, maybe maybe that's a technical error a computer error napa 60 degrees fairfield 72 68 concord 64 at livermore and the view from our exploratorium camera. looking toward the age these are our forecast features. it will be sunny and warm tomorrow for the parade and for juneteenth triple digit temperatures inland will prevail on tuesday and wednesday. it's going to be really hot tuesday's the first day of summer and it's certainly going to feel summer like and the heat will ease gradually toward the end of the week, but don't expect much of a drop in

temperatures overnight. we'll see mainly clear skies a few high clouds will peg pass by and maybe a patch or two of low clouds near the coastline but one amount to much so we'll have bright skies to start the day tomorrow and they'll get bright areas we get later into the day overnight under mainly clear skies. look for low temperatures on the mild side. mainly mid to upper 50s, so it's not going to cool down very much tonight and the nights that will follow will be less cool as the heat builds up in the daytime on the coast. you can find lowe's in the upper 40s overnight and our 12-hour planner showing conditions. we could expect tomorrow parade weather the parade starts at 11:20 tomorrow, 11:20 am that is and in the late morning hours, we'll have temperatures here in the city around 771. trees and they'll be climbing into the mid-70s by mid-afternoon. so a nice warm day by san francisco standards speaking of warmth that will be warm in the south bay tomorrow with highs of 85 at santa clara and 87 at san jose on the peninsula up to about 87 at redwood city and low to mid 80s just about everywhere else on the coast highs will be in the mid to upper 60s tomorrow

downtown san francisco high of 74 off of the north bay. we'll see upper 80s to low 90s mainly mid to low to mid 80s on the east bay and the end of the east bay where we'll warm up. low to mid 90s, and if you look ahead at the building, he tuesday numerous locations will be between a hundred hundred five degrees wednesday. not much of a cool down thursday brings us a little bit of relief. here's the accuweather 7-day forecast notice how the heat eases only a little bit toward the end of the week and even going into next weekend. we'll still have mid 90s inland and temperatures in the low 80s around the bay first week of summer. it's going to be a sizzling room. yeah roaring in. okay spencer. thanks. well just ahead. this is something definitely don't see every day more of this video showing two bears going at it in south lake tahoe.

for this coming week on the january 6th insurrection what the committee will focus on and the possibility former president trump facing criminal charges. plus workers at an apple store have made history what they voted to do that. no other store has done before.

building a better bay area moving forward finding solutions. this is abc 7 news. public hearings will resume this week on the capital insurrection. one of the committee members is now suggesting former president trump's action may rise to the level of criminal involvement abc news reporter mary alice parks with what the committee is

expected to focus on at its hearings with three of seven hearings down and two more scheduled this week tonight, the big question will the january 6th select committees findings lead the department of justice to bring any criminal charges. i certainly think the president is guilty of knowing what he did seditious conspiracy being involved in these, you know, kind of different segments of pressuring doj. vice president etc. obviously, you know, we're not a criminal charges committee, so i want to be careful and specifically using that language but i think we're presenting before the american people certainly would rise to a level of criminal involvement by a president and definitely failure of the oath 58% of americans in our new abc ipsos. pool believed donald trump should be criminally prosecuted for his role in the january 6th attack on the capitol the staff and his allies could be in jeopardy too at the request of the justice department the committee could turn over transcripts of all of their witness interviews as early as july many close to trump

testifying they told the form president before january 6 that mike pence could not overturn the election the committee sharing trump had been advised that in fact, it would violate the law still the committee says the former president engaged in a pressure campaign. criticizing pence as the mod drew at the capitol for not quote having the courage to do what was needed to be done an attack. he continued friday over a year and a half later mike pence. a chance to be great. he had a chance to be frankly historic, but mike did not have the courage. to act this week the committee says they plan to show how president trump also pressured state officials like in this phone call when he asked georgia secretary of state to find votes. well i want to do is this i just want to find 11,780 votes and detail a plan to have state

legislatures send their own representatives to washington to vote in the electoral college for trump. yes, we'll show evidence of the president's involvement in this scheme. we expect georgia secretary of state brad raffensberger and his top deputy gabe sterling who were on the other end of that call with trump to testify this week, and we're also expecting a second hearing focused on what was happening at the justice department. the committee says that trump was looking for people there. who would elevate these conspiracy theories around the election after he lost mary alice parks abc news, capitol hill the international governing body for swimming is restricting transgender athletes from competing in elite competitions like the olympics fina is banning athletes who've transitioned after the age of 12 72% of the federation's members voted in favor of the new policy. the federation's new policy also included proposals for creating an open competition category as a way to balance inclusion for trans athletes and promote fair competition. and aerial inspection shows the

silicon valley was known for connecting the world as the mecca of tech rally for civil rights. they come by train. they come by bus and this region was influential in the abolitionist movement. san francisco was the western hub of the underground railroad. and their role was to raise the money. so the money for the raid on harpers ferry, which was the precipitating event for the civil war. came from san francisco don't templeton is known as the historian of black san francisco an african-american history through the west on the second year of juneteenth becoming a federal holiday. we sat down with him to speak about its meaning and it's the end of the civil war as a result of the courage and bravery of 209,145 us troops of african descent 25,000 of them were brought into texas beginning in 1863. and they were the ones who had the honor.

of capturing the last confederate state to surrender. this will be san francisco's. severikins in northern california, san francisco was the first place outside of texas to recognize it tiffany carter is a co-founder of san francisco black wall street my community she grew up going to the fillmore juneteenth celebration, but after the festival went virtual in 2020, she decided to start a festival in her neighborhood the bay view and hundreds of people showed up. it was important for me because i actually grew up on gilman asked my family's house it was time for the next generation to put a stamp on june team now, there will be two stages and more celebration throughout the city the juneteenth festival on fillmore street will go back to this with music food and entertainment and the one in the bay view at gilman park will
