you will not need a jacket in san francisco. looking out across the bay, clear skies. temperatures will be in the 60's and 50's in the next couple of hours. much warmer this afternoon. it is going to get hot inland, reaching the nine. low 80's around the bay. at the beaches, mid 60's. the sun sets at 8:34. a big warm up starting tomorrow, where we hit the triple digits. kumasi: today as the day we have been waiting for. the warriors championship parade. all the barricades for the celebration are being put up. ryan curry is joining us with more on this.

ryan: live from the middle of market street where we will be celebrating the warriors big championship victory. it is quiet but everyone will be coming out to celebrate. very soon, we will see loud fans up and down the street cheering on the warriors. all day yesterday, warriors fans getting ready. some plan to arrive at right and early. the parade starts on market street and ends on main street and goes for a mile. according to the fans we spoke with over the weekend, this title is special. this is a team battle for a lot as they return as championship -- as champions. >> games have been different.

everything has been different for the past two years. to have a finally a parade to celebrate and just celebrate this team and what they accomplished this year, i think it will be huge. ryan: it will be huge indeed nice to see everyone out and about. once the parade starts, heading to the parade, public transportation will be the best bet. it is going to be crowded here on market street. we can expect to see something similar. caltrans say if you are coming from the peninsula they will add more trains. good opportunity to come on public transit and enjoy a day. kumasi: here is a look at today's parade route. it starts at 11:20 at markets

and main street and ends at market and eight. -- eighth. if you can't go, we will have it for you today. reggie: today is the day the federal government is observing the juneteenth holiday. a lot of companies are too. it marks when freedom came for slaves in texas. cornell bernard talked to people about the significance of juneteenth. >> you are happy and having freedom and victory. i know i am today. cornell: the annual juneteenth celebration back on after a two-year pandemic pause. >> it is getting to the point where no one has to ask, what is juneteenth? we know and we are celebrating and just happy. cornell: juneteenth became a national holiday in 2021, ending

is charge with addressing issues caused by systemic oppression and racism. since juneteenth fell on a sunday, the federal holiday is observed today, government offices and the stock market closed. most banks will be closed and no mail delivery. kumasi: a deadly police shooting investigation vallejo last night after sheriff deputies were called to assist vallejo police. sheriff's deputy it started shooting pier 1 person was killed. no other details about what led up to the shooting that are being released at this point by police. we have calls into the sheriff's office. reggie: the weight almost over for pants eager to get young children vaccinated against covid. they county officials figuring out the logistics but some hoping to offer the shot to children six months and up as early as tomorrow. tara campbell earns us the story of apollo of the family that

temperatures are going to warm up today. we will be above average and it is going to get hotter. in morgan hill and go light, low 90's. on the lower part of the peninsula, we will see 80's. 80 in menlo park. at the beaches at the cooler side, although warming up as well. upper 60's at this time. downtown san francisco, 74. look at the upper 80's in nevada, sonoma. lots of low to mid 80's for the east bay and the warmest locations inland will hit the mid 90's today. you want to stay call because things are going to hit the triple digits tomorrow. took of the overnight lows, especially for the inland areas. not much relief, only dropping into the 60's and we will see mid to upper 50's around the bay

an event that did not have any proper planning for the number of people who were here and with guns involved. and with our police managing a crowd on-site emma summit used a gun. and a child instead. kumasi: police say they have not identified or arrested any suspects. city officials considering legal actions against the organizer of the concert. developing out of new york, police investigating a shooting that left a 21-year-old dad and eight injured in harlem. the victims were enjoying a late night gathering when shot rang out. two groups were shooting at each other but it is not there what led up to the incident. the people hurt expected to recover. reggie: new developments in the death of comedian bob saget. to florida police officers were

disciplined for sharing information of his death before it was released. it is unclear what disciplinary action was taken. bob saget was on tour when he was found dead in an orlando tavern in january. kumasi: authorities in the north bay dealt with multiple sideshows. the biggest one was in santa rosa at summerfield road. 150 cars, 250 people gathered. 30 say there were reports of fire, assaults, and cars being burned during the sideshow. three other sideshows were reported. reggie: two instances of antiaging graffiti at the same house being investigated as a hate crime. police say someone vandalized a for-sale sign at home with an anti-asian home. yesterday, the same message found spray-painted on the home's garage door.

year and a half later. >> mike pence had a chance to be great. he had a chance to be frankly historic, but mike did not have the courage to act. >> this week the committee plans to show how president trump also pressured state officials and detail a plan to have state legislatures send their own representatives to washington to vote in the electoral college for trump. we expect the officials on the call with trump to testify and a second hearing focused on what was here -- happening at the justice department. he was looking for people who would elevate conspiracy theories after he lost. reggie: the international governing body for swimming has voted to ban most gender women from competition. the new policy takes effect today. it requires trance people to complete their transition by the age of 12 in order to compete in women's competitions.
