let's take you outside to show you that fog. morning fog, afternoon sunshine, we will detail those temperatures closer coming up. kumasi: firefighters are keep an eye on hotspots after five fires wrote out across the bay area yesterday. here's a look at how widespread these fires are. they are burning from livermore to vacaville, but the good news is firefighters have gotten the upper hand out for the fires. reggie: the one remaining active fire is the biggest, the tesla incident fire is in a remote area east of livermore and the altamont pass. at last check it is at 300 acres , with 10% containment. firefighters are at the scene. they were aggressively working to get it fully contained overnight. kumasi: in all of the fires, the fire crews were quick to jump into attack mode. no homes were damaged, but mandatory evacuation orders were in place for hours.

it's about 10%. the good news is the evacuation orders are being lifted. the fire caused many residents to have to rush to their homes to get what they need and leave. >> i was coming home from fremont with two other girls. as we were coming through, we saw billows of smoke. it looked like it was by our house. i said step on it. we came as fast as we could. it was up on the ridge. >> scary moments for those families. those people are being allowed back into homes. the good news, no structures were damaged and no homes were burned. that's very positive news considering how dry the hills were. as we mentioned, a lot of them are being allowed back into their homes because of the fires. this was the one that was worrisome to that neighborhood. we are live in pleasanton.

election in multiple states, including the state of georgia. jobina: the committee named six republican members of congress who they say asked for presidential pardons, including congressman matt gaetz, will mo brooks, louis gomer, andy biggs and scott perry. last night the chairman of the committee said he can prove those requests were made. the next public hearing on the capital attack is expected to be the week of july 11. reggie: state lawmakers have just approved a bill protecting abortion providers and patients. it comes ahead of a decision that could overturn roe v. wade. the bill protects and prevents civil lawsuits from outside the state from being enforced in california. it comes in response to states that have made it possible for private citizens to sue anyone that helps a woman obtained abortion. that bill will go into effect immediately after the governor signs it.

weaker than what the president wanted. last night, the senate passed that 65-33. that bill includes enhanced background checks, it closes a loophole to keep people convicted of domestic violence from owning guns, it provides funding for gun violence prevention programs, school security and mental health. this came after the supreme court struck down a new york law that requires people to show a need for concealed carry permits. new york lawmakers denounced that ruling. >> this isn't just reckless, it's reprehensible. it's not what new yorkers want. kumasi: the nra calls this a landmark win for second amendment rights. it will impact 80 million americans who live in other states that have similar gun laws. reggie: statement said it california is ready with a bill that would update and strengthen
