pride parade and festival since 2019 has abc 7 news reporter cornell bernard explains. please say they have a plan to keep everyone safe and they're asking the public for help. pride will be back on market street this sunday as one of the biggest parades in the country returns after three years and keeping massive crowds safe is the goal of san francisco. police chief william scott. he says every available officer will be on first of all we need the eyes and ears of vigilance. to be at the forefront of everybody's minds the chief urges the public that if you see something say something scott says his department is working with federal authorities, especially after police in idaho arrested 31 people earlier this month with ties to a white nationalist group which planned to riot at a local pride event as we know right now, no, no known or credible threat to to our events here in san francisco. scott says his department isn't sure how protests concerning the overturning of roe versus wade

downtown and this will allow for 20 to 25 mile an hour winds. through the delta this afternoon 51 santa rosa 52 petaluma. it is 60 by the delta and livermore and we are looking at that 24-hour temperature change anywhere from 3 to 4 degrees cooler inland and that should allow for 90s inland 60s along the shoreline just the way we like it around here. right and we will bump up those temperatures as we get into your sunday. so it's gonna be hot inland comfortable at the coast that fog it's going to be close to the, san mateo. and also the marin county shoreline, so we you will have some sun, but certainly that seabreeze out there the pattern holds through monday and then more dramatic changes for next week as we get into the last week of june. there's a look at the fog nine o'clock this morning. it continues to be right at the coast and look how far it pushes inland early sunday, but it's going to retreat we've got high pressure building in from the south and that will allow for

that inland heat to continue sunday into monday, but seabreeze doesn't go anywhere nor does that compressed marine layer? so as we get to two o'clock this afternoon, you can see 22 mile an hour winds san francisco through the delta they back off of course with the low clouds and fog banking up along the shoreline moving through the delta and then by sunday, it's the same scenario for the breeze, but it should take us into the upper 90s that high pressure rich building in as you can see those pinks getting a little bit closer. this is the forecast for the highs today and then get into that warmth sunday and monday we still have that seabreeze here along the coast 76 and san mateo. so you know that seabreeze is with you there today 83 palo alto upper 80s in san jose comfortable to warm from san rafael to napa in the 80s with 95 in concord and for the celebrations today a little cooler 68 in the city waking up to the 50s tomorrow and the fall with low 70s for the parade.

anyone with information is asked to contact sfpt. two people were murdered this week in san jose and modesto in violence connected to one suspect san jose police just provided the details of what happened before police shot and killed that man abc 7 news reporter. dustin dorsey has the story. a violent 12-hour police pursuit and standoff with a murder suspect tuesday night into wednesday morning spanned hundreds of miles san jose resident raymond called iran is suspected of taking two lives before dying at the hands of san jose police suspect calderon senselessly killed two people and when finally confronted by the san jose police department and they highly populated neighborhood. he opened fire around them as a last stitch effort to escape. this endangered not only the pursuing officers. but innocent members of our community san jose police chief anthony marta said they were first alerted to calderon when his ex-girlfriend called saying he would not return their six and seven year old children to her calderon allegedly threatened suicide before going

on his dangerous journey calderon killed a man he knew in front of this home in san jose around 7 pm before driving to modesto to kill michelle rose gonzalez a woman called iran shared a six-month old child with all of this police said with his grandmother in six and seven year old children in his vehicle this just to speak to not only how ruthless and violent this individual was in committing the homicides that the chief mentioned earlier but the extreme indifference to lives you may affect years from now and these children may be affected by this for the rest of their lives police said calderon drove from modesto to gilroy to drop the three family members off after then driving back to san jose police said he fired at officers multiple times while running into an empty backyard shed where you'd hold up for hours police deployed tear gas in this video shows calderon running out of the with gun pointed at police as he was shot by officers later dying from his injuries. we would all like these encounters to result in the arrest. of an individual without further harm but i think we all know.

let's go check out the forecast now lisa. we're checking the pride weekend forecast and that is all important, but you know what so far. we are really trending pretty near average for the bay and the shoreline but inland remaining about 10 degrees above average adding on a few degrees into our sunday and monday. so live doppler 7 picking up on the storm track pushing well into british columbia and a live look here. at the airport where it was pretty cloudy earlier, you can see that deck of low clouds and you know that seabreeze will be with you today 54 in the city's 55 oakland mountain view and 59 in san jose with low 50s and some fog half moon bay emeryville pretty view with temperatures. from the low 50s santa rosa napa 60 by the delta and livermore 58 in concord. so 24-hour temperature change. we are cooler from livermore to napa four to six degrees cooler and that seabreeze helping much

of marin and san mateo stay comfortable today over in oakland. it was a little breezy yesterday that seabreeze was enhanced by system offshore today more of your typical sea breeze allowing for that fog to stay with this in the morning clear by the mid-morning hours hot inland. the beaches will be a comfortable and this pattern holding especially inland on monday, but notice the low clouds and fogs stain right along the shoreline but into tomorrow making their way all the way out towards the delta it retreats the fog does but high pressure is building in from the south and that's going to allow for that heat to come back. perhaps we could see numbers close to 100 degrees for inland valleys. here's a look at the next seven days for san jose. we should see low 80s out there upper 80s throughout the day today. a for santa clara and around milpitas a little cooler, but about 90s we get into your sunday and then the temperatures begin to trail off monday and tuesday with numbers below average thursday and friday. how's today in the south bay
