house, you know you got a mess. what's on the trend this summer when it comes to party decor? >> okay. so, it sounds kind of crazy, but hear me out. the coastal grandmother aesthetic is all over social media. basically, if you've seen a nancy meyers movie set at the beach, that's what we're talking about. so, think breezy linens, blue and white, ina garten, that's what we're talking about. bring that look home with hydrangeas. blue and white is a great way to bring that into your table. i love them because you get a lot of bang for your buck. they're so voluminous so you only need a few stems to fill a vase. a lot of them have them growing in their yards this time of year or you might have a friendly neighbor who's willing to share. the vases too. i love thrifting vases. go to the local thrift store, find new to you stuff that's inexpensive and i like the mismatched look because it looks like it's more collected over time. last but not least, i love decorating with citrus. big pops of color bring fun and

yeah, exactly. a drizzle of honey would be so god. i also have a grilled tomato and corn salad. y'all, this is so good, and it looks so impressive. what i love about this in the summer is that it's serveo things that are kind of at room temperature, because you don't have to worry about keeping them hot or cold. this tomato salad is a perfect example and looks really impressive. it has a yogurt sauce with tumeric. i love the plays of yellow in it. we have a nice citrus v vinaigrette. i charred the lemon. i used that charred lemon juice to sort of make this veinaigrete and then i'm going to top it with grilled corn. oh my goodness. look how pretty it is. this would impress all your friends and it is so delicious. >> so bright and colorful and also really good rule of thumb when it comes to food and hosting in the heat. thank you, ladies, so much for being with us. betsy and ivy and you at home
