we are waking up with fog locally from san mateo to marin. visibility is reduced to three quarters of a mile to half a mile at times round half moon bay. this will bring us limited sun at the coast but sunshine in the city for the parade. we are a couple of degrees warmer near the bay. low 60's bayside, upper 60's inland, cool and in the 50's at the coast. we will see 70's and 80's around the bay. it is another warm day with low to mid 90's inland, 80's from newark and we will keep the clouds hugging the coast coming up. >> we are hours out from day two of san francisco's 52nd annual pride parade from the castro to dolores park, the mood is both celebratory and somber in the

during this time. the roe versus wade thing is huge. >> after a two-year hiatus pride weekend has finally arrived. 52nd annual san francisco pride parade kicked off yesterday with drag shows, street vendors and more. the festivities ran through 5:00 p.m. and were followed by the dykeust shod you. clubs are holding special events and activities. abc 7 is your home for live coverage of the private rate. it starts at 10:30. we want to give you a look at the parade route. it travels at market street and ends at the civic center where he celebration will follow.

developing news now on the decision to overturn roe v. wade. a grassroots resistance movement is on the rise looking notably different than it did in the 1960's. christine sloan has the latest. >> the supreme court's decision ending constitutional protections or abortion is sparking protest across the country. in rhode island a candidate for state senate said for opponent punched her at a rally. he has been charged with simple assault. outside the supreme court two people were arrested for destruction of property, while some people celebrated the court's decision. justice samuel alito writing that "roe was on a collision course with the constitution from the day it was decided."

justice clarence thomas argued in his concurring opinion that the supreme court should reconsider other rulings codifying same-sex marriage. >> there is a good chance that in a few years issues like contraception or same-sex marriage could actually be subject to revisiting. christina: abortion is illegal for 31 million americans in at least eight states with 18 more likely to severely restrict or ban abortions in the coming weeks. planned parenthood is now filing a lawsuit in utah. in montana -- the biden administration says the president is asking the justice department to challenge state laws restricting the right

wednesday. police arrested a 26-year-old man for the shooting death of a passenger in san francisco. if federal jury has awarded 21 million dollars to the family of alayna mann dragon,, the pregnant 16-year-old killed in 2017. she was sitting in the passenger seat of a car police were trying to stop. police were trying to arrested the driver of the car but when the driver tried to get away, police shot at the car killing the young teen. the district attorney's office determined the fatal shooting was justified. a police pursuit saturday morning in moraga ended with a crash killing the driver and critically injuring the passenger. the chase started after police

try to pull over the driver. the car rolled over a hill and crashed near moraga way. the car was reported stolen out of richmond. new developments in sexual assault claims against of windsor's former mayor. the chronicle reported that a woman in montana filed a lawsuit against dominic accusing her of raping her several times when she was 18-year-old -- several women have made sexual assault claims against him. he says he is innocent and says he looks forward to being fully cleared. a fire scare yesterday afternoon after a blaze spread to a nearby brush and move rapidly damaging another home.
