out of state since september to receive abortion care services. reporter: many marched to protest the end of constitutional protections for abortions from the civic center to the ferry building. carl thompson was bowing his support. >> i bet if you ask, a lot of these people were out here a couple years ago in 2020, fighting for the right of people like me and swelled. so i am going to come out and fight for their rights. stephanie: hundreds gathered outside the city alta protest the overturning of roe v. wade. many displayed signs showing their disapproval of the supreme court's decision. protesters took to the streets

outside city hall's continued the rally at a nearby park. we have gathered all of our coverage into one place, so you can see all angles, locally and nationally. it is on our at, which you can download for free. a fire scare in alamo yesterday afternoon after a blaze that began in a house that spread to nearby brush. it started on alamo ranch road and moved rapidly, damaging another home. local fire crews say that residents got lucky. >> a close call in one community saturday afternoon. around 3:00, a house caught on fire before eventually spreading to nearby grass. >> my husband was home so we had to get the dogs out. i was thinking of things of importance like my kids' baby bends and the dogs.

reporter: they were able to quickly contain the blaze. right now, there is no word on a cause and the fire remains under investigation. things could have been a lot worse. they are using this as an example to get everyone ready. >> if the wind had been blowing a little harder or if it were a little hotter today -- if they had not done their defensible space. reporter: given the drought conditions, it is still too close to comfort. many say that they will get evacuation plans ready. >> this is a wake-up call. stephanie: a wildfire in the santa cruz mountains is now 100%

contained. it was burning near highway 17 and hutchinson road. the fire risk continues to be top of mind for many. lisa, what areas will see above average temperatures this week? lisa: not only are the inland valleys above average, but when you get away from that low deck of clouds, add some moisture on my windshield, but the warmest temperature will be the north bay mountains. still into the mid-90's. elsewhere, we are not too far away from average. you can see the cloud deck all the way down the coast and zooming in. all the way to oakland, that this cloud deck is beginning to

stephanie: developing news. the group of seven countries is banning new russian gold imports. according to the wall street journal, the new sanctions are the latest in an effort to punish russia after invading ukraine. gold is a major export commodity from russia, just behind energy. officials from the biden administration say that this is part of a series of more sanctions coming in the week ahead to prevent moscow from
