hurts. that is your look at sports. let's send things back to you. all right, lisa. typical san francisco summer pretty foggy out there this morning. yes, it is liz, but we'll see a little bit of a change as that marine layer retreats. it has been sunny and our inland valleys and making for some pretty pictures this morning low pressure is going to visit us again in about two or three days and that will allow for a more expansive marine layer, but as we look at this bigger perspective here, you notice really not much going on in the pacific northwest. so that means we're going to warm up so looking the gray sky here this morning 56 in the city 58 in oakland 60 in palo alto with upper 50s, san jose mid-50s half moon bay and gorgeous view of the marine layer here the low clouds and fogs some drizzle the closer you get to the shoreline 51 santa rosa 15 petaluma with upper 50s by the delta and 60 in concord. so certainly some wipers not a whole lot of drizzle on that fog. we'll be pulling back from the

coast temporarily today for a slightly. summer afternoon there. there's a shark tank with partly cloudy skies in the south bay. we've got the drizzle the coast so partly cloudy overall to start your sunday the big warm-up today and tomorrow with temperatures climbing about 10 degrees in our warmest interior valleys and that warmth spreading across the bay shore from newark to palo alto and redwood city today. so the highest temperatures will be well into the 90s today and tomorrow, but we don't get rid of the sea breeze the winds will if as we get inland, but at the coast we still have that onshore flow, but it's mostly sunny otherwise and then into your early tomorrow. we're still looking at the low clouds and fog and then they get banked up along the coast high pressure is what is expanding to the east of us and that's allowing for the warm up, but it's not strong enough to get rid of that marine layer altogether 66 ocean beach today as well as half moon bay. so that's a little warmer partly cloudy skies with 70s down
6:53 am
through santa cruz and monterey that ocean temperature. in the low 50s, so that light easterly wind over into near yosemite allowing for the fog and haze to drift into the sacramento valley, but also a southwest wind pushing that smoke up towards the northern sierra, so it's been hazy heard from some folks in tahoe that said they saw the smoke yesterday. so it certainly beginning to drift into the sierra, nevada. and of course that fire is doubling in size. it did since yesterday and we're looking at temperatures in the 90s to near 100 degrees. so throughout the day-to-day and tomorrow the air quality will certainly be affected from lake tahoe down three yosemite 86 in santa clara. it's 84 and sunnyvale this afternoon with mid 80s from san mateo downtown 74 a nice seabreeze with 68 in the sunset 80s to mid 90s up in the north bay a warm day there vallejo. how about 92 degrees? and on the east bay?
