contained until crews reported an explosion of fire committee late yesterday. the fire has grown to more than 2700 acres, containment went down to 22%. the flames burning in the southern part of the part in mariposa grove. crews are working their hardest to save the sequoias in the growth. some of them thousands years old. sequoias were once thought to be fireproof, but climate change and drought conditions have led to some of the most dangerous conditions firefighters have ever seen. crews a set of sprinklers to soak the base of the trees, increasing humidity. outside the park, more than 1600 people have been ordered to leave. jobina: now to the pandemic and the rise in cases of the subvariant, ba.5. just to give you an idea where we are, every single bay area

reggie: five people were shot during the course of six robberies at 7-eleven stores. two of the victims died and for the incidents are believed to have been committed by the same person. investigators are looking into the others for connections. the robberies happened over the span of five hours it started at a 7-eleven in ontario followed by upland, riverside, santa ana and others.
