a break in the case of a ride-share driver murdered in oakland as officers heard for the suspect. police say they found the car the suspect used in sunday mornings attack. the car was found monday night lay san francisco. surveillance video captured two men in hoodies approaching the man as he sat in his car on sunday. seconds later, he was shot and killed. police believe robbery was the motive. larry: you've likely seen a lot of graffiti around san francisco. it is a challenge for small business owners, who are a vital part of building a better area -- bay area. one restaurant owner, in september, has been repeatedly hit by randall's -- vandals. he is facing possible fines, on top of the cost of opening a new business. our reporter shows us what the city has in the works to try to help. reporter: as cars race by, fresh coat of greasy -- graffiti covers the old taco bell in the sunset district. >> it cost a lot of money.

witnessed a wild explosion yesterday at the hoover dam, a transformer burst into flames ascending huge plumes of smoke into the air. trevor ault spoke with the redwood city mother and son. reporter: an explosion at one of the nation's most historic landmarks in critical pieces of infrastructure, flames and thick smoke rising up the 700 foot hoover dam, tuesday. the family was watching overhead. 13-year-old william recording this video, as a bridge was shaking underneath them. >> i saw a lot of smoke. immediately after, fire, then the sound started to hit us, a little bit right away. >> no one is there. >> it was a very long siren. that is when we decided to leave. reporter: hoover dam straddles the arizona/nevada border and provides power to well over a million people in the region. officials say a mechanical problem caused a transformer
