it's now been days without any word on the dog. abc7 news reporter amanda dell castillo had the story. amanda: this is coco the 2 year-old malti-poo was reported missing. more than just a dog to allison ruiz. she was gifted by her parents to provide her comfort through the pandemic. >> i'm still in shock. i can't believe it. >> before take off on a recent family vacation, ruiz made accommodations through the rover app. through the online market through pet care services, she booked a pet sitter having used it previously as what she called convenient care and cost. but then came a text from coco caretaker. >> i don't know if the app contacted you but your dog bit me and he ran away and i couldn't catch up to him. and i started panicking. i i'm in hawaii. they canceled my flight.

to the north and across mainly the sierra and across southern california. so through tomorrow evening, that's where the biggest threat of thunderstorms will be. here in the bay area, we continue to see lingering mugginess in the air. right now, the dew points are in the 50's. we've seen some 60's. livermore 49 degrees. tomorrow morning it will be muggy to start off the day. as we head into the afternoon, still that humidity lingering. what we're not used to. but later on during the day we see the due penguins dropping off into the 40's, which is comfortable for us. anywhere from the 50's to the 70's. it's pretty mild outside at this hour. do want to show you why the humidity may return. tropical storm frank that is well-defined in the pacific expected to weaken to post tropical depression tomorrow. but right now, it's still a tropical storm as it continues to weaken. notice the north, northeast trajectory. could see some of that leftover
