around 3:20. the circumstances leading up to that unknown. officers performed cpr on one of the victims that he later died. this is the second killing in san francisco sunnydale neighborhood this week. a 17-year-old was killed blocks from here monday. it is the second muni killing this year. the first in june on a light rail train. >> it is crazy because i feel like end of the pandemic things have gotten worse. >> muni has added 20 new ambassadors to their lines to deter crime but many passengers telling us the city needs to do more because they do not feel safe. >> i don't want to take muni today. it is so scary. >> field with crazy passengers. last time i went, somebody was putting graffiti all over the windows.

>> overall writing muni is safe and they made an arrest earlier this summer. >> these appear to be random incidents, focused -- neither of them focused on muni passengers. >> no description has been given in this shooting. they have installed high-quality video cameras throughout the system and police say we should know in in the next 24 hours if the cameras were working. j.r. stone abc7news. >> and other violent attack on public transit, a stabbing on a part train. it happened during an altercation between two men at eight tonight. the station was shut down and has since reopened. police found the knife but have not made an arrest. the stabbed man is expected to survive.

>> da brooke jenkins announced she is resending more than 30 lead deals with people accused of selling fentanyl. she believes deals granted previously were too lenient. she says they will help combat the drug epidemic in the city, especially the tenderloin. >> the monkeypox vaccine center will be closed for a ins tomorrow. the public health department -- appointments will be honored tomorrow just note walk ins. san francisco has nearly 400 monkeypox cases, the most of any bay area city. health officials have promised an update when more vaccines arrive. moderna has initiated a program to see whether the company could create eight monkeypox vaccine with mrna technology.
