symptoms of starvation and emaciation and dehydration. bergeron says since may 334 brown pelicans have been cared for about 50 of them were found stranded in the bay area. aviaries and things were filled to the gills with with pelicans some of the birds suffering secondary injuries from fishing hooks or were hit by cars trying to find food in unusual places. the big mystery here is why are they serving? so we're we see them coming in with broken wings wildcare in san rafael has also cared for the injured birds and this year. the numbers are higher. we in 2022 so far have admitted 14 emaciated pelicans in anyone, we admittedou n for the avian flu, which is on the rise, but climate change is another theory. ocean is the water is warmer. it drives fish away from their traditional hunting grounds, but the water temperatures are also
