11:01 pm
it is a little windy spencer is watching the conditions out there tonight spencer dion. we've certainly have lots of inland heat today. let me show you a look at some of the high temperatures around the area today including the lower lake county which had highs of 102 103 degrees and you can see other far northern areas of ukiah 105 103 cloverdale over at fairfield. we had the highest reading of the day in the bay area 170 degrees in lower lake county where the fire is burning the relative humidity is still quite low. the wind is calm up there right now. it's in fact as we look at surface winds around the entire bay area you can see relatively light to calm when so that's good news for containing the spread of the fire, but it's going to be how to get early next week in some locations around the bay area right now. you can see temperatures dropping down into the 60s and 70s in the very warmest inland areas 80 right now brentwood and we had a current reading of about 80-81 in lower lake county as well. so it's slow to cool down in those inland areas, but at least the threat of fire is diminishing right now. i will look at the accuweather seven-day forecast in just a few

11:03 pm
so when people come up to go i'm filipino too kind of brings a smile to my face with bay area cities like san francisco reporting a 567% increase in anti-aging hate crimes last year shaved ice vendor joy ramirez agrees events, like these are even more important for her community with just everything that's been going. it means a lot. it means a lot to be able to be out here with everyone. i mean, we're still in co. but it's just i mean, i i feel like that it just bringing back a sense of community and bringing back a sense of togetherness with a growing asian american population, which now makes up 14% of the city antioch. mayor lamar thorpe says the festival was meant to promote inclusiveness. there's so much culture here that it's important that we as government to put a platform or put together platform so that everybody feels like they have a voice here. everybody is celebrated here and we respect and accept cultures a

police cars that eventually cleared the intersection. back to back fires kept san jose firefighters very busy tonight crews quickly extinguished a lunch hour blaze off. the street and highway 280 downtown the fire started in los gatos creek, but flames ran along a fence and ignited a woodworking shed and a house hot weather complicated conditions firefighters who responded had just put out yet another fire not far away. they got back to station got their gear recent rechecked and then we're quickly dispatched to this fires. they didn't have any break between two second alarm fires. and you can see the heavy damage to the structures there the cause of the fire is still under investigation. there were injuries reported. the fentanyl crisis will be put into focus tomorrow in san francisco as some mothers plan to hold a rally abc 7 news reporter tara campbell spoke to a couple of moms who are all too familiar with the drug problem. i think us individually deep
