video of paul pelosi's dui arrest in napa county. the -- cam video shows the husband of how speaker pelosi undergoing field sobriety tests in may. that is when he was involved in a crash that injured another driver. pelosi the tourney entered a guilty plea on his behalf. pelosi was not there. the county district attorney called the sentence standard for this kind of incident. >> the consequences of the sentence was three years of summary probation, all fines and fees, restitution owing to the survivor. he has to submit to blood, breath or urine test if requested by law enforcement if it is suspected he is driving under the influence. >> paul pelosi sentence includes five days in jail, four of which he has already served. the judge ruled the one additional day can be spent doing community service. >> two building fires kept fire crews very busy in san francisco. the fire started at 2:30.

the burning building belongs to the national park service. witnesses say the fire got out of control fast. >> it was a tiny bit like a bum was having a cookout and then it was much larger. >> cruz kid get the fire under control in 15 minutes. no word yet on how it started. raging flames and smoke rose from a san francisco apartment building. a woman and three cats had to be rescued. several firefighters were hurt. the fire happened before noon on mcallister at divisadero near alamo square. that is where wayne howland is live for us to walk us through what happened. >> that is right. the fire has been out for a couple of hours and the streets all around this happened -- where this happened have for the most part reopened. if you take a look behind me,

you can see a large obvious hole left behind on the building from the fire. we are told teen residents have been displaced and each one is working with the red cross to find temporary housing. take a look at our sky 7 view from above fire. it quickly turned into a three alarm fire burning in more than 100 firefighters from cost the city. flames damaged all three floors and the roof of this building. two firefighters suffered minor injuries and one woman and three cats had to be rescued. we spoke with a friend of the woman who was rescued with her two cats and she said she was blown away by her bravery. >> she is a hero of the day. she is in the third unit and she has two cats. she was able to get the cats. the smoke was coming through. they could not get out of the hallway. she had to go to the roof with two cats and climb down the

ladder to get to safety. we are all blown away at her bravery and how she got out. insanely grateful she got out. >> this is a photo of the rescued woman who managed to get her cats and get out safely. she sent us this picture from the hospital where she was treated for smoke and elation. she is doing ok and is going through the discharge process right now and we have learned she has since been discharged from the hospital. the cause of the fire is still under investigation. there is still quite a bit of traffic around us on divisadero. he will want to take an alternate route and avoid this area if possible. >> to developing news now, it is a federal. kiely rodni has been found. an autopsy confirmed what we have believed since sunday at

the missing 16-year-old and her carper located in prosser reservoir. researchers with the volunteer group adventures with purpose made the discovery. hundreds of law enforcement searched for her from within two t makes -- for more than two weeks after she left a party at a campground. circumstances of her death remain unknown. a missing man was found in san mateo county the day after his car crashed down a cliff. a good samaritan help with the rescue. dion lim has the story. >> this is the steep and rocky cliffs in la honda. it is where in elderly men ended up overnight after tumbling more than 300 feet. >> the vehicle had gone down the embankment. >> the elderly man spent the night in the cold and is not spotted until tuesday morning by a man who did something remarkable.

now add sinking sidewalks and a lawsuit to the list. luz pena is here with the story. >> san francisco's mission bay neighborhood is relatively a young neighborhood. about 24 years ago, the city approved the development of this area. now sidewalks and roads are sinking. the concern residents have is utilities and pipes could be impacted as the soil continues to settle. before chase center, multimillion dollar constructions were going up, san francisco's mission bay neighborhood was filled with dirt and rock in the 1800s and now some parts are sinking. >> the edges around the building, the actual streets are sinking. >> leanna has lived under the neighborhood for over seven years. welcome for over 13 years. there noticing an increase in cracks in roads and sidewalks.

>> there could be some old lady tripping on one of the elevator tiles. mission bay residents have paid for repair work through taxes or fees. since october 2020, they are suing the city of san francisco and demanding for the sinking sidewalks and roads to get fixed. >> as part of the building is on a big concrete slab. there are piers and they go all the way through the bay mud film down to bedrock. it is solid all in place. this sidewalk does not have in any piers. >> in the reports that were done before any of the building happened, they said there would be as much as 24 inches of sink over 50 years. we are really less than 10 years into the development and some areas of some more than 18

inches. >> some buildings are trying to fix the uneven sidewalks but the gaps keep getting larger. san francisco's city attorney office said in part the risk of subsidence was disclosed to all property owners prior to purchase. these sidewalks are private sidewalks that are the responsibility of the property owners to maintain. these attorneys want the city of san francisco to take responsibility. >> no homeowner can repair the sidewalk correctly. it is not like you can go out and replace a paver. you need to dig deep into the soil. >> the lawsuit claims city officials ignore the weakness of the soil and should pay for these repairs the city attorney's office said they will respond to the lawsuit and is considering options. as to a timeline, san francisco has until october 6 two respond. >> we will stay in the city for another moment drivers in san

theft happened. >> gyms, jewelry and high end watches all part of the multimillion dollar stash stolen thieves broke into the truck the heist fit for a hollywood movie july 11 when officials say the tractor-trailer heading south had stopped at a highway gas station. brinks acknowledging that one of the drivers was asleep in the vehicle. according to the complaint, per department transportation regulations, driver one with driver two asleep and went into the flying j for food. driver one returned 27 minutes later and saw that the red plastic seal around the trailer was caught and lying on the ground. the valuables all part of the international gem and jewelry store, a national traveling exhibit. >> most of the diamonds do have serial numbers engraved in the stone. we a microscope to read it.

training business. michael finney is in the newsroom. >> the charges, as the state legislature considers final approval of a bill that would put some controls on the unregulated dog training industry. antoine is accused of six counts of felony, animal cruelty and a counts of obtaining money and/or property under false pretenses. families paid him to train their dogs but he left them covered in feces and urine. does family say some of the dogs became seriously ill, died or disappeared. court records indicate his business partner also faces six counts of fraud in this case in placer county. both men face charges in connection with their business, auburn canine. the judge ordered him not to have any contact with dogs while

seriously ill while under his care with an intestinal infection caused by eating feces. nevada county charged him with three misdemeanor counts for animal cruelty and another for operating a kennel without a license. those charges will be combined with the charges he faces in placer county and will be prosecuted together. the state senate is expected to take a final vote on a bill inspired by 7 on your side's coverage of the dog training industry. that bill would require dog trainers to disclose if they have any civil judgment related to the service or felony animal cruelty convictions. the bill has been amended to remove a requirement for the trainer to disclose their training methods such as use of a shot collar due to concerns from the governor's office. >> i thought it was important for rest to take a step to make sure we are protecting dog
