yeah, it is liz and you know too much at one time certainly not good. in fact to the ground, you know can absorb that much. so when we're looking at our rainfall season, yeah, we would do anything to get a little bit of rain, but we are looking at a dry pattern here and as high pressure has built on in throughout the week ahead. we're going to see a lack of sea breeze and low clouds and fog and that will initiate a change out there right now temperatures are in the low 60s, and we're not going to see any rain upper elevations relative humidity in the teens 70% mount tam and mount diablo. it is 56 in santa rosa 61 in san mateo and a look outside here where it's pretty pleasant not a whole lot of fog in san francisco, but there is drizzle at the coast and visibility reduce there. so do be careful mild to near average temperatures on the warm side inland but nice into the 80s again and the summer heat returns as we gradually increase those temperatures day after day and we'll see less of the low
5:16 am
cloud in fog, but we will also look for the breeze to stay with us at the coast. here's a look at what you can expect the rest of the day today with the clouds pulling back. we'll see a sunny day region wide and the breeze up to 25 30 miles an hour and as we get into your monday a little bit of warming our inland valleys notice we're still looking at some patchy fog at the coast but temperatures coming up into the mid and upper 80s, maybe even 90 out towards the delta fairfield solano county and look at temperatures in the 60s and 70s bayside, but as we get into this warming trend we could see numbers around oakland about 80 degrees the warmest day of the week, which could be anywhere from wednesday to thursday and looks like that heat is going to hold on throughout the rest of the week. here's tuesday into the 80s and the north bay and you can see fremont warming up a few more 90s arrive by the middle of the week mid-90s here with the sea breeze continuing to keep shares in the 60s at the coast, but that fog is going to be less
5:17 am
widespread. so in terms of our high temperatures today around average we're looking at mid 80s inland about 86 in livermore fairfield into the mid 80s right now. that's southwest wind by the delta up to 32 miles an hour. so they're enjoying a break from the rain as we get out towards the second. in oakland looking at about 80 today in the south bay around san jose and up in the north bay here notice 70s and 80s, but i don't get too. week and that looks like we're going to see temperatures. stay warm through the labor day weekend. here's a look at your accuweather seven-day forecast 60s at the coast today looking at 70s around the bay and mid 80s inland. so the coolest day of the week is today sunday. the breezy winds continue a little bit milders we get into your monday afternoon upper 80s near 90 on tuesday inland.
5:18 am
so we'll look for the numbers to continue to be comfortable getting a little warm as we get into the wednesday thursday time period nineties holding on we could even see some triple digits as we get towards the end of the work week, is that high pressure builds in so we haven't had a whole lot of summer heat and right on cube perhaps for the labor day weekend, liz, absolutely. all right, lisa. sounds good. thank you burning man starts today and then about a desert the week-long festival is back after the pc annual pilgrimage to a halt organizers say tens of thousands are expected to come together in nevada's black rock desert to create black rock city. it's a temporary metropolis dedicated to community art. expression and self-reliance dust storms are part of the experience burning man first began in 1986 on san francisco's baker beach with the burning of a large wooden effigy called the man and back with a bang. it's estimated close to 40,000 visitors showed up on saturday to san francisco's chinatown's autumn moon festival many considered the festival to be
