some sad news. >> the sheriff saying two people have now died from the fire. >> there is no easy way of puting that. it is one thing to come up here and tell you things. to look at your faces, it almost brings me to tears. >> reporter: the so-called mill fire erumd over the weekend tearing through the town of weed near the oregon border. thousands of people were forced to evacuate. the flame destroying more than 100 homes. >> this was just a big puff of black smoke. you could hear a small explosion. >> reporter: more than 2,000 mile to the east, a far different crisis. severe flooding has now turned deadly. an elderly woman's body was found five mails down stream from her home after flash flooding hit southern indiana and kentucky. >> massive flooding. >> reporter: in georgia, the governor declaring a state of emergency after heavy rain triggered a flash flooding northwest of atlanta. up to 14 inches fell in just 24
