surfaced that a separate investigation overturning the 2020 election. tell video from an elections office in georgia where data was allegedly copied. jay o'bryant has more beginning with the documents at mar-a-lago. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. a new report says that documents that trump kept at mar-a-lago included top secret information about a foreign government's nuclear program. >> reporter: this morning, new fallout from the classified material allegedly found at former prufr's florida residence. the "washington post" reports a document fbi agents seized at mar-a-lago describes a foreign government's military defenses, and nuclear capabilities. the post adding some of the seized documents detail top secret operations, so closely guard that had many senior national security officials are kept in the dark about them. it comes as the justice department and former president trump's legal team face a new deadline.

a judge is given them until friday to list candidates who could be a so-called special master in the case. an independent party who will review the documents. pierre thomas on the judge's ruling. >> she talked about the notion that there were other documents seized at mar-a-lago to include perhaps medical records, tax records, and other personal items that were included in those boxes that the fbi took from the premises. >> bill barr, who served as trump's attorney general, said the judge's ruling granting a special master was wrong. he says the justice department should appeal the ruling. >> i don't think the appointment of a special master will hold up. even if it does, i don't see it fundamentally changing the trajectory. i don't think it changes the ball game so much as we'll have a rain delay for a couple of innings. >> reporter: meanwhile, an investigation into the trump supporters to overturn the 2020 election results in georgia where authorities are looking into the breach of voting data

in rural coffee count. this surveillance video shows a local republican leader escorting two operatives reportedly working for trump's attorney into the county elections offices. the video is from january 7th, 2021. the same day authorities say the office's voting machines were breached. >> we see in the video, doug logan and jeff lindbergh arriving at the elections office. both men were involved in efforts to challenge the results of the 2020 presidential election. >> the woman escorting those men has been identified as the former republican chair woman of coffee county, kathy, who is under criminal investigation. she's accused of submitting false certifications, declaring trump the winner in georgia even though trump lost to joe biden. her lawyers responding to the video saying she would not and has not knowingly been involved in any impropriety in any election. as for the men seen with latham, they have not responded to the

request for comment. it is important to know the video only shows what was happening on the exterior of that office in georgia. not what was happening inside. >> thank you. a new mexico judge has removed a county commissioner from his position and banned him from holding public office. because he took part in the capitol riot on january 6th. the person who founded the group cowboys for trump is the first official in more than 100 years to be unseated under a 14th amendment provision that disqualifies insurrectionists from holding office. meanwhile, former trump advisedor steve bannon is expected to surrender in new york tomorrow. sources say he faces indictments on his fundraising effort to build a border wall. overnight, california avoided large scale rolling blackouts despite concerns about the power grid not holding up. authorities reported the highest power demand in state history but alerts asking people to conserve electricity apparently worked. there were some outages.

about 50,000 customers in the bay area lost power. sacramento set an all time highest, hitting 116 degrees. the heat is fueling a wildfire that is spreading east of los angeles. evacuations have been ordered in ski areas are now using snow making equipment to contain the flames there. a separate fire is blamed for at least two deaths and has forced the evacuation of 1,500 homes. new fallout this morning. more than three months after the school shooting massacre in uvalde, texas. authorities are revising protocols and more officers are now facing an investigation just as the new school year begins. this morning, officers with the texas state police are being ordered the take a more aggressive approach to school shootings in the wake of the massacre in uvalde. steven mcgraw, the head of the texas department of public safety announcing a revision to protocols, writing to employees, ofgsers responding to an active shooter at a school will be authorized to overcome any delay to neutralizing an attacker. when a subject fires a weapon at a school, he remains an active

shooter until he is neutralized and not to be treated as a barricaded subject. he has blamed uvalde school police chief pete arredondo for the delayed response. officers waited 77 minutes before taking down the shooter. >> the only thing stopping the hallway of dedicated officers from 111 and 112 was the on-scene command here decided to place the lives of officers before the lives of children. >> more than 300 officers with five separate departments respond to the shooting that day. arredondo who was fired last month said he did not believe he was the on-scene commander. meanwhile, the first day of school nerves were unlike ever before for students at uvalde. returning to class yesterday for the first time since the shooting. officers on hand along with new fencing and comfort dogs for the kids. >> i am nervous. very nervous. >> reporter: she was up before the sun determined to start fifth grade. just three and a half months ago, she was in the room next

door to where the gunman carried out his bloody rampage. >> i love school so much. even if it happened, i would still go to school. i know it won't happen again. >> reporter: they lost their 10-year-old daughter lexi but close to send their older kids back to school. >> i think they need the routine. none of the schools are safe to me. so we had to pick one. >> as for the investigation into the shooting response, five officers with the department of public safety have now been referred to the state inspector general for a formal investigation. two are suspended. le parents want more action to hold law enforcement accountable. public school teachers in seattle have authorized a strike and as a result, school district has cancelled the classes for. today even theers are demanding better pay and mental health support. the suspect in the kidnapping of memphis school teacher eliza fletcher returns to court today to face murder charges. police have confirmed a body found in east memphis monday was

fletcher's. investigators believe she was killed in a random attack at 4:00 a.m. last friday. the suspect previously served 20 years in prison for kidnapping an attorney and trying to force him to withdraw cash from an atm. authorities have not yet released eliza fletcher's cause of death. we're learning more about the one pittsburgh on the run after a be at aing rampage in central canada that left ten people dead. police say myles sanderson has 59 prior convictions, including assault. he was released on parole after serving the required portion of his sentence. he's been out since may. the other suspect was already found dead. the pentagon says russia is running so low on weapons in ukraine, it is now buying arms and ammunition from north korea. intelligence findings show they are seeking artillery shells. it comes as they report progress in the counter offensive in the south. time for a look at your wednesday weather.

the hunt is on this morning for the man at the biggest bribery scandal in navy history after he he indicated from house arrest. leonard francis known as fat leonard cut off his ankle monitor and fled from his san diego home just three weeks before his sentencing date. prosecutors say francis bribed u.s. navy service members with prostitutes and other gifts in exchange for classified information, which he then used to get military contracts. theranos founder elizabeth holmes is asking for a new trial citing newly discovered evidence. a jury convicted her earlier this year of defrauding investors in her blood testing company. now her lawyers say a witness for the prosecution approached them expressing guilt over his testimony against holmes. the witness, dr. adam rosendorf, testified he repeatedly warned that the blood testing was inaccurate.

excursion in nassau with her family tuesday when authorities say she was attacked by a bull shark, bit in her upper body. >> family members along with operators from the boating company was able to rescue the female, brought her on board the tour company boat and brought her here. >> reporter: the woman died before she made it to the hospital. the cruise ship "harmony of the seas" was on a seven-night cruise that sailed from port canaveral, florida, last sunday. cruise line royal caribbean saying it's providing support and assistance to the guest's loved ones during this difficult time. officials describe the area she was snorkeling in off rose island as popular with tourists, but three years ago another deadly shark attack was reported in the same area. 21-year-old college student jordan lindsey died when a school of sharks attacked her. her father spoke to "good morning america" in 2019. >> jordan said, mom, there's
