morning for the man accused for the ghost ship fire in oakland. 36 people died. he served years in prison after pleading no contest to involuntary manslaughter. reporter: today's proceeding is a probation hearing. the alameda county prosecutor saying derek violated probation, and a petition filed to send him back to prison. his attorney and wife are defending him. he could go back to jail after serving time for the deadly ghost ship fire. it is a crime for a person on probation to own or possess ammunition. authorities didn't find a gun but a bullet. his wife says it was in on an altar she made to honor those who died from gun violence. court papers say police found a machete and 10 archery bows with

wants to fight the spread of monkeypox. currently 800 confirmed cases here. a pop-up clinic is opening today. reporter: a disproportionate level of cases have been found among gay men of color. san francisco is working to connect in a different way by bringing them somewhere other than this traditional daily clinic at zuckerberg general. the department of health has partnered with an organization dedicated to eliminating health disparities in the black and marginalized communities of san francisco to offer a pop-up clinic today at their location on cesar chavez street, noon to 3:00. they launched the monkeypox

4:00. abc 7 news. kumasi: a brooklyn based judge selected as special master to review materials seized from mar-a-lago. he was endorsed by the doj and named a potential candidate by former president trump. a different judge rejected the bid to resume the investigation. she claimed pausing the investigation would not only come with national security risk, which is what the doj was arguing. reggie: uber is responding to a cyber security breach. employees haven't been able to access company software. the hacker posted an explicit photo on an internal company page.

uber is in touch with law enforcement. kumasi: san francisco unified under fire after a second victim set a former athletic director sexually abused her on campus. a former student filed a lawsuit in august. the district allowed lawrence young to resign from george washington high school. the former student said he started sexually abusing her in 2012 when she was a minor, in the 10th grade. she is filing a lawsuit against him and the district for emotional and physical harm. the first victim filed a complaint against the a.d., in 2017. reggie: another step in the effort to return land in oakland to indigenous communities. this is located in joaquin miller park, sequoia point, not
